17.01.2022 Does your child have trouble putting their thoughts into words? Expressive language involves labelling objects, putting words into sentences, describing actions and events, asking and answering questions, retelling a story and using grammar correctly in sentences. Even though children vary in the rate of their language development, there are certain milestones that can identify normal development. ... Typically, these skills are developed at certain ages before more complex skills can be learned. Speech Moves use the latest assessment and intervention programs to identify delays in expressive language skills. Intervention is goal focused, evidence-based and therapeutically fun. We can help your child communicate effectively! Contact us today to find out how we can help: 0423 902 114 [email protected]

06.01.2022 Need some fun and educational games to play over the holidays? Give Christmas Bingo a go! It’s easy to make and targets listening skills, vocabulary, rhyme, and articulation. What you need to do: Print out a blank Bingo sheet or draw one on some paper. In each box, draw or print out Christmas-themed images. Examples include: Candy cane, elf, wreath, ornament, lights, gingerbread man, present, stocking, mistletoe...etc.... That’s all there is to it! Use some coins or other small items to place on each image as they get called out. You could even laminate the whole paper and use whiteboard marker to cross off each image. Do you have any ideas for Christmas-themed activities? Share below #speechpathology #christmas #bingo
