25.01.2022 One year on since we premiered our film @a.corner.of.the.earth for the first time at @londonsurffilmfest - What a wild ride this project has been! We’ve truely rinsed it for all it’s got haha - Here’s a little update on how the films travelled to over the past year - It’s been publicly screened over 80+ times, selected for 20 film festivals and has been watched in over 40 countries around the world. ... Thanks you so much everyone once again for all the support you showed us with this project - Really makes us so amped to get working on a sequel. See where the next few years take it! 24.01.2022 New work for @avene_au shot with Olympian @cate_campbell A fun sunny day shooting in Bondi with a lucky 2 hour window with the icebergs pool all to ourselves. With gimbal, drone and underwater cameras all live streamed via zoom to creative team down in Melbourne. 22.01.2022 Had an epic chat with my mate @thestampedetrail on his new @mapp_life podcast which just went live. We covered everything from my weird relationship with coffee, mental health, the Wim Hoff method, how I went from working in a kitchen to being a filmmaker and most important - the first insight into the sequel of our feature @a.corner.of.the.earth which we’ve been planning through the year. When we recorded this podcast I’d just wrapped my 4th international job in the space o...f 5 weeks and the rest of the year was starting to look equally as busy until Covid hit and we all got a big reality check. Which now looking back having all that downtime wasn’t the end of the world after all Lots has changed since then but still a rad to look back on this conversation and epic to chat with Simo either way. 13.01.2022 One stormy afternoon in Fiji a while back. Myself @russellbierke and @mattdunsmore_ had surfed / filmed the whole morning prior until the trade winds kicked in and the onshore made the rest of the day a right off. So we ended up calling it quits and heading back to our village we were staying in which was about an hour in a boat from Cloudbreak. Then we got a tip off from one of the crew staying on namotu that the winds had swung again - we got back in our drivers boat and raced back for the last hour of light - @chebula_ snuck into this runner across the whole reef just as we got there. I was hanging out of the front of the small wooden boat in the channel, dodging rain storms and trying to get at tight as I could with a 200mm Lens. Good times in on of my favourites

09.01.2022 A new @thomasvictorcarroll x @surfer_magazine film in the works We’ve been slowly chipping away at this rad little project filming around home throughout year - covering all aspects of TC’s life nowadays. Hopefully we get a couple more swells to wrap the project up @eye_symmetry @quiksilver
