25.01.2022 Have you been feeling stressed or worried without any logical reason for it? Anxiety is an increasingly common condition now in our society which can have both mental and physical triggers. Did you know that diaphragm or belly breathing is an amazing way to get the body to calm down by targeting the relaxation aspect of our nervous system.... Here's a video with a brief way to do this :) Tim - our physio's advice is just to do this lying down and a little slower compared to what they show in the video, but a great place to start. Physiotherapy is a great way to assist with management of physical anxiety. If you need anything further and to help diagnose or overcome this issue arrange an appointment with our physiotherapist.

We are doing our upmost to keep our doors open during this difficult time. Our local and broader community is dealing with a challenge that is affecting us all, in particular our population sensitive to respiratory issues. As our patients include some of these populations directly and of course indirectly (through each other) our team and facility don't want to be responsible for causing harm to anyone. We completely understand circumstances and hope that together we will definitely overcome our challenges and then things will be back to normal.
