14.01.2022 YUFC has previously announced the appointment of an experienced management team for its Amateur/ State team nomination in 2021, we have a UEFA B licensed coach ...and assistant plus a physio team in support. Wednesday December 9th, Splendid Park at 7pm is an opportunity for all players that are interested in showcasing their abilities to attend and take part in a light training session followed by varied formats of game play , the new coaching team will be in attendance and look forward to meeting you. YUFC are keen to state that past, present and new to club players are all welcome, with a new management team, comes a clean slate and an open opportunity. It's exciting times at YUFC in its 40th anniversary season and we want YOU to be part of it and take advantage of our massively reduced all-inclusive registration fees. The FFA Cup is a national knockout tournament run by Football Australia in conjunction with every State and Territory Member Federation in the country. The competition commences with the Preliminary Rounds before moving into the Final Rounds (from the Round of 32 onwards), the stage when the A-League clubs join the fray. Each and every cup tie must be decided on the day, with extra time and penalties to decide results of matches drawn after 90 minutes. 2019 saw a new record of FFA Cup entrants, with 736 clubs around the country competing in the Preliminary Rounds. That total increased to 736 clubs with the inclusion of the ten A-League clubs and the reigning NPL Champions of Australia, who received automatic entry to the Round of 32.
