23.01.2022 Head Technical Coach Profile | Jungho Kim Our Head Technical Coach Jungho Kim (Ho) was born in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. Ho began playing football at a full-time professional academy in Seoul, where the most talented young Korean players go to dedicate their entire life to the game, starting at just 9 years old.... Ho played football with the academy for 10 years, starting when he was 9 and finishing when he was 19 years old. During that time, he played in teams that were crowned champions 10 times and runners up 3 times at the Korean National Championship Youth Tournament. By trade, Ho was a full-time professional footballer playing as a central midfielder, but due to his versatility, he also played left back, right or left wing, striker and even centre-back throughout his playing days. As his career progressed, Ho played for Dynamo Zagreb in Croatia before returning to Korea to play with Yesan FC in the K-League, as well as also going on to play for Hwasung FC and Chuncheon FC.

As a club, our primary focus is on the fostering and development of talented young footballers in a highly technical professional footballing environment. The aim of our junior programs is to assist talented young players towards achieving their football and personal goals. Our Senior squad expansion is not only focussed on local and European players, but also Asian youth-talent as well. 08.01.2022 Head Coach Profile | Tomas Kovar Tomas Kovar is the Head Coach of Sporting Whittlesea FC. Head Coach, Tomas Kovar's particular area of expertise involves developing the technical abilities of young footballers. He currently holds a UEFA-B Coaching Licence and is seeking to complete a UEFA-A Licence.... He has been an elite youth development coach for more than 10 years. In addition to coaching elite youth teams, Tomas also individually coaches many external elite youth, semi-professional and professional players (locally and overseas) who have sought out his expertise in elite technical player development. Having played football professionally at the highest level in the top professional leagues in Europe, Tomas offers a unique balance of elite level European footballing pedigree combined with a long and successful youth coaching history that makes him a uniquely skilled and relevant coach for today’s talented young players. His holistic football approach encompasses all aspects of the game that young and developing players must consider in order to take their game to an elite level offering youth players technical development opportunities rarely seen at clubs or academies. Tomas Kovar is an ex professional footballer turned full time professional coach based in Melbourne, Australia. Running his very own football academy, Tomas brings a unique and innovative way to coaching and developing young footballers. 04.01.2022 Happy New Year! We are writing to provide a brief update on a couple of important dates and some other items. SENIOR MEN’S TRAINING... The Senior Men’s Team re-commences training for the 2017 season at 6.30pm on Tuesday January 17 (training schedule available on Team App). Please note this does NOT include the Senior Development Team. ALL OTHER SQUAD TRAINING All other squads re-commence training for their respective 2017 season on Saturday January 21 (training schedule available on Team App). HOLIDAY CONTACTS Please note that Paul DiBlasi will be away from January 10 through to January 22. During this time all players and parents can contact Tomas Kovar directly on 0431 883 764 if needed or alternatively send an email message to [email protected]. If any players or parents require a meeting to be scheduled, this will need to be arranged with Paul DiBlasi after his return after January 22. TRAINING FEES Also a reminder that the January training fees (paid either monthly or quarterly) are coming due on the 15th of January. If parents would please ensure any outstanding fees (including January payments) are brought up to date by the 15th of January.
