21.01.2022 WARNING. THIS SCHEDULE IS NOW OUTDATED. PLEASE SEE OUR MOST RECENT POST <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><<><><><> Sydney Kovas have now received advice from all of the Sports Clubs regarding teams entered for the 69th Sporto Svente at Terrigal. The image hereabouts shows the final, high level program for the Sporto Svente. The Opening Ceremony and Suzipažinimo vakaras will be combined for Friday night (27 Dec) with the first sporting events commencing on Saturday 28 Decem...ber and concluding Sunday 29 December. With no teams entered, Women's basketball will not be played in 2019. Unfortunately we could not find a venue for Darts and so this will also be unavailable. Kovas hopes to organise Mixed Volleyball and Mixed Basketball games. We have almost enough entrants for 2 teams in both and we think that with late nominations, there will be sufficient numbers to run these events. So if you are interested in playing some FUN and FRIENDLY games of Mixed Volleyball or Mixed Basketball please let us or your Club know at the earliest opportunity. As we will need to combine people from lots of Clubs to form the teams, no trophies will be awarded in these two events - so these will be friendly games only. There are still opportunities for you to participate at Svente in all of the sports. If you would like to join a team or play a sport such as tennis, table tennis, golf or billiards please let us know.

14.01.2022 Just confirming that there will be no Breakfast BBQ tomorrow morning. First event is Tennis from 9am and Basketball from 11am.

11.01.2022 Su Sventum! We hope you all enjoyed Christmas and are excited to be heading to the 69th Sporto Svente in a few days. A couple of important reminders and updates: 1. Sporto Svente registration is $15.00 per adult participant. Kids under 16 are free. Registration must be paid either at the Opening Ceremony/ Susipazinimo vakaras or from 10am on Saturday 28 December at Terrigal Basketball Stadium. For people only coming for Sunday, please pay your registration fee directly with ...Sydney Kovas' Peter Gustafson at the basketball stadium. The registration fee goes towards the costs of hosting Svente. 2. Golfers. The confirmed golfers have reorganised to avoid the heat on Saturday 28 December and will now Tee off at Shelley Beach Golf course from 9.30AM (NOT 1pm as previously advertised). We suggest you arrive no later than 9am to get orgaised. If you would like to play Golf at Svente please advise ASAP by replying to this post. 3. If anyone is travelling from Sydney to Terrigal on Saturday 28/12 or Sunday 29/12 and has a spare seat in your car, there are a few people hoping to organise a ride. 03.01.2022 Billiards action. Vik Sliteris from Kovas won the singles. Vik and Rick Sliteris won the doubles.

03.01.2022 Well the 69th Sporto Svente has been run and done. It was a really successful Svente, despite it being a bit smaller. Nevertheless, the 3 night, 2 day format worked brilliantly and allowed the running of men's, mixed and junior basketball, tennis, golf, billiards and mixed volleyball. The images attached hereabouts are the final report for the Svente, including results. A similar report will be published in the Musu Pastoge in coming weeks.

01.01.2022 UPDATE 26 DECEMBER: - GOLFERS please note that to avoid the heat, the confirmed participants have rescheduled Tee off to 9.30AM for Saturday 28/12 at Shelley Beach Golf Club.
