24.01.2022 Hey guys and girls, just a question without notice, and i stress NOTHING IS ORGANISED AT THIS POINT, this is purely to canvas potential interest from competitors. IF we could secure another Sports GT round later in the year, as an example, Queensland Raceway at the end of July, who, if anyone would be interested in heading up?? nothing is in place at this stage at all, and it may not be possible this year but there is interest from some ares to try to make this happen from an organisational stand point, so just thought I would see what peoples thoughts are????

22.01.2022 So finally we can issue the regs and entry forms for Sports GT as a support to the Supercars at Symmons Plains April 6 - 8. It has been a long process ticking boxes with both Cams and Supercars but we are now ready to go and looking forward to a big grid and great racing over that weekend. Entry forms and Supp Regs have been sent to all drivers we have an email for, but if you have not received yours, and you want one, please contact us and we will arrange one for you. Our... Category was a stand out at last years event and we hope to do the same again this year and secure our spot at this event every year. As such it is important we get entries in quickly and fill the grid if possible (grid density is 34), We realise it is a short lead in now but urge you to enter quickly and support the hard work Donald has done to secure us a spot on the support programme. Entry fee is $895 and includes 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session and 4 x 17 laps races (or time certain finish), a marquee spot and a bbq on friday afternoon after qualifying, so plenty of track time is assured (and an extra race from previous years), and as always, TV is possible but not guarenteed. The normal Sports GT rules apply as run in the TSS (but this is not a points round), and as such many cars from other categories are eligible to compete but should you have any queries about anything to do with the weekend at all, or know someone who might, please contact either Donald Potter on 0447315114, or myself on 0418583191, or simply comment here and an answer will be found asap, please pass this onto anyone you know who does not use social media and please support local motorsport at these national events. 15.01.2022 Neil Buckby Motors Sports GT Symmons Plains One day down and we have a sunny saturday morning (so far!!), a good day yesterday with a few team incurring some mechanical issues, but thanks to the hard work of some very dedicated crew members, the last report was that we had lost nobody, so great effort from all concerned. Today sees Qualifying at 10.25am (20 minute session) and Race 1 at 2.25pm (14 laps). For those not able to be there keep an eye on the fox schedule as we are a chance (no guarentee) to have our sessions televised if all the planets align. Good luck to everyone today, time to go racing

13.01.2022 Check out the TSS Facebook page with highlights and news from the Tasmanian Super Series

13.01.2022 We sit down with Donald Potter, General Manager of Motorsports Tasmania to discuss circuit racing, it's challenges and future.

05.01.2022 WOW!!! what a weekend, big field of cars, every kind of weather anyone with a warped mind could conjure up, and drama every time we hit the track. so many people to thank, firstly our sponsor Neil Buckby Motors for supporting us, Donald and the team at MST for believing we could deliver and making it happen, and of course all of you who entered, turned up and made it happen in often appalling conditions. I will be having a meeting with donald soon to see what we can do for next year, and who knows maybe we can do something interstate at some stage soon if the planets align. Once again thakyou to you all,
