11.01.2022 - Changes to our sign in & out procedures from Wednesday 5th August - With Gladys Berejiklian’s recommendation to wear masks when social distancing isn’t possible we have had to rethink how we can improve our sign in and out procedures as we are noticing the foyer is getting very congested during peak times and families and staff cannot socially distance themselves. From now on during peak times, we will have a staff member near the gate taking children’s temperatures and re...minding families and children to use the sanitiser before coming in. They will also be only allowing 2 families in the foyer at a time. Any families waiting to come in will be able to distance themselves along the path. Please remember if you arrive to preschool before your session start time please stay in your car until it is time to come in. Floor books will no longer be displayed in the foyer as this tends to see more families in the foyer and makes social distancing very difficult. We will post floor book photos on our school stream app the morning after each session. If you need some time to speak to your child’s educators, please call us to arrange a suitable time. All staff interacting with families (both at the front gate and in the foyer) will be wearing a mask so please prepare your child for this. Thank you for your understanding.

05.01.2022 UPDATE for 2021 Kindergaten Transition Kindergarten Orientation/ Transition Programs will run in Term 4 approved by the DoE and under strict health guidelines.... Planning is underway for revised dates, times & information by our Kindergarten teachers. Due to this update we will send home folders & information early next term. 01.01.2022 Hooray!! Our 'Stepping Stones' Kindergarten Readiness Program that was put on hold, is now ready to go!! To participate in the transition program, parents... will need to have completed a student online enrolment form and made contact with the school prior to attending. To access the form just Google Springdale Heights Public School website, click on enrolment tab and complete. NB. If you have already completed a manual form and made contact with the school, you will not need to do the online enrolment form. We can't wait to meet our 2021 Kinder students to help make that very important step from home to 'big' school.
