This year has been especially hard with lock downs and iso restrictions it has really made me appreciate the small things about you like having you living next door. I know we are so much luckier than most. If there was ever the typical hands on, fix everything country man with a love of family, friends and farming it would be you. Patient to a fault, unless a video was going to be late back to the store (app...arently it’s the small things..), it’s a pity not more of it rubbed off on me. Taking mum’s love of slice and a budding business idea, working together to shape what Springhill Farm is today was not easy you put in the long hours and hard work so when the time came for James and I to take over the reins we were in good hands. While many dads get bottles of their signature scents on father’s day, we couldn’t work out how to bottle your ‘eau de muesli slice’. The smell of hot slice out of the oven will forever remind me of you. You have always made such a lasting impact on everyone you’ve met. To this day we still get asked if the ‘nice man’ is going to be delivering orders to customers. Don’t worry I'm always sure to let them down gently. Thanks for being our rock.
