17.01.2022 Honey!!! Harvest #2! A little over 2 months since I harvested last. Very happy and excited!

12.01.2022 We’re battening down the hatches a little. It might be a bit wet and windy tomorrow. The remnants of Cyclone Claudia will passing by.

11.01.2022 Honey! Our first proper honey harvest from our flow hive!!!! I visited our hive this morning for the first time in an embarrassingly long time to discover the girls had been very very busy in my absence. To say I was excited when I opened the flow super is an understatement. 7.5 kgs of honey from 3 of the 6 frames.

01.01.2022 Meet Prunella the Pandanus! She’s been hiding in the back corner of the pool yard being crowded out by her big sisters. She’s moved down to the front of the property with 2 little sisters where they have all the space in the world. Cross you’re fingers for her, it’s not the greatest time of the year for a move but she’s tough. You’ll see her when you come through the gate the next time you come to visit.
