25.01.2022 Flashback to last December at Bairnsdale Sheep Market. Our 18 wether lambs topped the market, averaging 59kgs at 5 months of age. No grain, just grass. All these lambs were sired by our first Springside ram, Springside Audi A3.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Lynne on the arrival of a healthy ewe lamb on Saturday. She took bought two of our maiden joined ewes and this is a first for her and the first of Springside offspring to arrive for 2014.

13.01.2022 Twins, twins and more twins! It must be the year for them. Another 3 sets born overnight and early this morning. All sired by Atlas of Blue Rock and out of Springside ewes- 88T/16, 72Q/15 and 14T/12.

12.01.2022 Great day at the saleyards, our Suffolk wether lambs doing exceptionally well. Average weight of 60kgs at 5-6 months of age, no grain or hay, just what was in the paddock. The continued dry spell in East Gippsland meant these lambs have done it tough, with the exception of the last month, after we had some rain. It was fantastic to hear so many positive comments about them.

The arrival of our third child and a subdivision and planning for a lap around Aus has been keeping us very busy of late. After much deliberation and discussion we have made the decision to sell our stud prior to our departure. 10.01.2022 A very even line of lambs in the yards today. All up to 4 months of age and sired by Springside and Blue Rock Rams. These lambs are definitely ticking all the boxes. All grass fed, no grain or hay. Definitely shows how well Suffolks perform under tough conditions.

08.01.2022 First set of twins born yesterday, a ram (4.08kg) and ewe (3.84kg). Despite the cold weather, they are both very strong and their mother, a Blue Rock ewe is doing a wonderful job

07.01.2022 Lambing has begun here at Springside with two singles and a set of twins so far. Our ewes are doing a wonderful job and despite the cold and frosty nights here in East Gippsland, these little guys are thriving. Always keeping a watchful eye over everything, our two alpacas, Boss and Alonzo. These lambs are by Springside Judd and our new stud sire Blue Rock 170212.

05.01.2022 *Suffolk Ram Lambs 2018* Really impressed the growth of these ram lambs. All are under 4 months of age. Sires include Springside rams (Audi, Lucas and Judd) and our new sire Blue Rock 170212. We weighed them today, with the top ram 210118 hitting the scales at 62kg, while the group of 10 rams averaged 55.2kg. No grain, just grass!!

05.01.2022 We currently have a number of Stud Rams for sale. They are up to 14 moths of age. All sired by Springside rams. They have all been vaccinated with Gudair OJD, 6 in1, Brucellosis free and DNA tested as Spider Lamb Syndrome free. PM for more details.

02.01.2022 Hopefully you all had a lovely Christmas and New Years. We are in preparation for joining and are looking forward to introducing 2 new bloodlines to our stud through an A.I program. This will be a first for us and we are learning as we are going. We are using the services of Genstock in Hamilton for the program. Exciting times ahead :-)
