05.01.2022 It has become clear that measures around COVID19 are becoming firm and more rigid. The elderly and disabled are at a higher risk- and self isolation is the best option. Sprint Rabbit has been established to help the elderly and disabled to access and engage in the community, however as this is now no longer a safe option Sprint Rabbit is still here to help this demographic have access to safe shopping options. Sprint Rabbit, during this time is still open for transport, how...ever if there are any clients in the community who require a shopping run Sprint Rabbit can do this for you. Shopping Run Cost Sprint Rabbit will charge one way for transport $13.00 hour for shopping You provide list, shopping bags and finance to pay, or Order online and Sprint Rabbit will collect with transport being charged for one way. The Strand in Townsville has a place called Oliver Brown which is frequently visited and quite popular as it is across the road from the beach and you get amazing see breezes and can eat inside or alfresco. If you require any transport services up until 23 December we recommend booking in advance as soon as possible. Our calendar is filling quickly and we do not like to disappoint our clients. From December 23 to January 4 we are taking a short break for our drivers and vehicles to have a rest and prepare for an even busier 2021. ... A limited service will be offered Monday 4 to Friday 8 January 2020 - only advance bookings during this time due to limited staff. For your information our closing times for the Christmas/New Year period are as follows - Wednesday 23 December 11.30am - Last booking time for 2020.
