25.01.2022 Highlight of my day in clinic today....seeing one of my new lovely patients face (well part of it) as she excitedly reported that she'd done not one, but two well formed poos in one day in the two weeks since we started working together....FIRST TIME IN 7 YEARS!!!! I am seeing so many patients who have been living with diarrhoea and gut issues and nervous to be away from a toilet for years. It doesn't have to be this way. We've just started reading Roald Dahl books at bedtime and our cherubs are begging me to keep reading..."just one more....i'll pay you, i'm not going to sleep until you read more....pleeeeassse!!" I have to admit his books are still magical to me. Reading bedtime stories to my kids is my favourite part of the day and reading these books has taken it to the next level!...
