25.01.2022 We need you! The Somerton Park Tennis Club Committe are looking for some helpers! There are lots of jobs to do at the club and as we know many hands make light work!... We would like to form two sub committees: 1. A Welcoming Committee 2. A Fund Raising Committee We think it would be nice to have a Welcoming Committee to induct new club members. Some tasks would be to - Introduce new club members to the key people at the club Tell them about how the club is run Tell them about training options Help them with their registration Setting them up with a uniform etc The Fund Raising Committee would - brainstorm fundraising ideas - help with the running of the fundraising events - coordinate established fundraisers If you want to feel more a part of the club, helping out is one of the best ways to do that. Contact a member of the committee to let them know you are interested or leave a comment below and we will contact you. If you have other skills that you feel will help the club, please also feel free to comment below. ie. grant applications or even if you have some spare time. Looking forward to fantastic summer season!

The summer tennis season is fast approaching and we are holding our annual Come and Try Days at the club next Sunday 30th August, and on Sunday 13th September, from 11am - 1pm. If you are considering your child playing competition for the first time, or considering a return to tennis, the Come and Try days are a great opportunity to meet the club coaches and committee and get all the information you need!
