24.01.2022 The year 9 IST class recently had their marshmallow throwing robot challenge. Jasper and Oliver were the victors, throwing an impressive 122cm. Lots of fun had in the designing testing and competing.

23.01.2022 Upcycle for a more sustainable future! Today a team from Upcycle Newcastle came into our Textiles classes to run a workshop on reusing t-shirts to make a rag rug. 19.01.2022 Year 7 and 8 Girls' Cricket Gala Day The success of the national women’s team, the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars has encouraged many girls all over the country to pick up a bat or a ball and give cricket a go.... Today, SPX entered 9 teams into the local schools' comp at Federal Park, Wallsend. 28 teams took part in the day. It was a great day of fun, skill-building cricket at the grassroots level. Well done girls!

18.01.2022 End of Year Awards Schedule Please be aware that because of COVID restrictions, only students will be attending this year. The ceremonies will take place over 2 days - Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th December. Normal lessons will run concurrently. All students are expected to attend on these days in FORMAL SCHOOL UNIFORM.... Year 9 Awards Assemblies - Tuesday 15th Years 7 & 8 Awards Assemblies - Wednesday 16th The last day for all students will be Wednesday 16th December.
