25.01.2022 Coaches Fiona & Brad warming up the team, ready for another awesome day of racing at the SWA qualifying meet.

24.01.2022 Club Meet 1 photos courtesy of a committee photographer. One of the favourite fun events was the team relay. Our senior swimmers once again demonstrated awesome role modelling leading their teams and supporting some of the new, slightly nervous young swimmers through the evening. Thank you to our coaches, parent & committee volunteers pitching in to run the meet. Save the date for the next club meet - Friday 6th Nov, planned for official times and practice leading up to the central zone meet on 14th Nov.

24.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT To parents of swimmers competing in Junior SC State Champs see below from SWA regarding number restrictions at event. HBF stadium have limited the number of people allowed in the grandstand seating area of the indoor pool to 600 people, whilst WA are in Stage 4 of the COVID-19 Roadmap. ... Unfortunately, this has a direct impact on the logistics of the SWA SunSmart Junior Short Course Championships. As we are expecting approximately 500 competitors, we are unable to run the meet as per normal with this restriction in place, and Swimming WA have made the difficult decision to limit spectators to 1 parent/guardian per family of swimmers (ie 2 siblings, 1 parent). All swimmers at the Junior Short Course Championships will have access to the grandstands and will count towards the 600-person capacity, and children 9-11 years of age at HBF Stadium need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Swimming WA is working closely with Venues West to ensure that there is enough seating for parents and swimmers around the concourse at the scoreboard end of the 50m indoor pool, for when the 600-capacity limit is reached in the grandstand. Further information regarding the meet will be released next week once entries close. Luke Gavin Athlete and Coach Development Manager

Many teary eyes in the squads today. A new journey is about to start with a long road trip to Kalgoorlie to commence in his fabulous new career as a Chiropractor. We could say many things but a picture paints a thousand words as shown in one of our favourite club photos below from 2018 with Coach Brad and Griff. It really speaks volumes about Brad. Congratulations, best wishes , safe travels and good luck Brad. We will miss you xx
