25.01.2022 Is anyone else dealing with GROWING PAINS at the moment? My 7 year old has them in her shins quite often and having had them as a kid myself I know how painful ...they can be, especially since they always seem to show up at bedtime. My husband never had them as a kid, so he thinks they're a myth and all in her head (and an excuse to stay up past bedtime) Here's a great article explaining what they are, if they're actually a thing and how to treat them. 03.01.2022 Thought I would take this opportunity to shine the spotlight on one of our physiotherapists and introduce them to our facebook family. This week its Brett Edwa...rds. Brett is one of our Practice owners and has been a pivotal part of our practice since its inception some 17 years ago. Brett is a keen golfer, sportsman and has been involved with many sporting clubs during his career. Therefore he has a keen interest and vast experience in dealing with sporting injuries. He uses a combination of therapies to assist with recovery including hands on treatment, exercise programs even hydrotherapy if required. Brett also has experience with workcover injuries, injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents, neck, back, muscluoskeletal problems, just to name a few. Brett offers dry needling also. Brett is an early bird. His sessions start at 7.30am on a Wednesday and Friday morning and he also offers a session every third Saturday commencing at 7.45am. Brett is a great option if you need to fit an appointment around your work schedule. You could possibly fit in a treatment on your way to work.
