23.01.2022 We have now decided to close our doors at 2 pm today Wednesday 18th March, until further notice. So come in and stock up with books if you need them. We will open by appointment in the coming weeks should you run out of good reading material. Be vigilant and look after you and your family’s health. 19.01.2022 We’ve had quite a few people wanting books and have been opening by appointment. If you’re running short of reading material next Tuesday 07/04 and Wednesday 08/04 we will open by appointment in the afternoons. If this works well and Government permitting we shall offer this service in the following weeks. No more than 2 customers at a time and definitely nobody with symptoms of cold or flu. 09.01.2022 All ready to go from Monday morning. All the old favourites ( biscuits, slices, fudge) freshly baked cheesecake. Scones will be ready by 9.30 am on Monday morning. Introducing Paninis, featuring quality local produce, ciabatta bread from Daci Daci , Scottsdale bacon , homemade relish etc.... 07.01.2022 St Helens Books will be reopening in late June. We want to make sure this is as safe as possible an environment for both our patrons and staff. We are in the process of rearranging the shop interior to help with social distancing guidelines. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces when we reopen. Clive and Veronica

06.01.2022 St Helens Books would like all our regular customers to know that due to concerns surrounding potential transmission of the COVID 19 virus, Saturday 21 March will be our last trading day until further notice.
