20.01.2022 **WE NEED TO REMAIN VIGILANT** As restrictions are slowly lifted is really important that we don't lose sight of looking after ourselves and looking after everyone in our community: - Continue to wash and sanitise hands regularly... - Continue to maintain appropriate social distance - Get tested at hospital if your have flu-like symptoms - Stay at home if waiting on a covid-19 test result - No visitors in your house if in isolation after returning to the region or waiting on a covid-19 test result - Don't bring sickness to family, work or friends If ever in doubt, it's best to be cautious than risk making others sick. Speak to a nurse or doctor if you're unsure what to do. And always call 000 in an emergency

16.01.2022 **This time last week ** Just a reminder that you may see us dressed like this in the coming days and weeks. This is to protect US and YOU . It DOES NOT mean that we are dealing with a covid-19 case. Now is NOT the time to make assumptions and spread rumours. Now is the time to look after yourself, look after your family and friends, look after our sick people and old people, and look after our community as a whole ... It's normal for people to be stressing at the moment. Speak kind to each other, give help to each other, and make sure you take the time to look after your mental health

13.01.2022 THANKS FOR EVERYTHING KEITH Keith has volunteered literally thousands of hours over 15 years with St John WA - Wyndham, and today he completed one last transfer before hitting the road to start exploring the south of the state!! Keith willingly gave so much of his time to volunteering because he understood and experienced the importance of helping others and doing something for his community. Keith would step up when there was no one else, often putting aside his own plan...s or days off to ensure Wyndham had an ambulance when needed. His dedication was nothing short of admirable, and a stand out in our community! Keith always had a good story or two to tell with plenty of laughs while driving back to Wyndham from Kununurra, be it the middle of the day or middle of the night. Keith was also more than happy to help pass on his years of knowledge and experience to new volunteers, both at weekly training and while out on a job. On behalf of St John WA and the community of Wyndham, thank you Keith for everything!! You're an absolute legend, and although you'll be missed we hope you have a thoroughly deserved time of your life

13.01.2022 It's important to protect yourself from covid-19, but it's equally important to continue looking after your health everyday
