23.01.2022 ST. JOSEPH’S FOOTY MARGIN TICKETS: With the change to AFL games over the next two weeks, we have changed the matches that our margin tickets were to be played on. We have decided to keep the tickets on the first match of each of the next two rounds. Round 6: July 9 game Round 7: July 16 game Good luck to all those who have purchased tickets.

22.01.2022 Today our children had the wonderful experience of watching and joining in with members of the Australian Ballet, as they presented aspects of real ballet to our children. Earlier in the year a representative rang our school explaining that the Australian Ballet had been awarded a grant to take ballet to the remote parts of Australia. One area chosen was the West Coast of Tasmania. Unfortunately Covid- 19 meant that they could not travel so they offered to live-stream the presentation to our children. Here are some of our students joining in the fun.

19.01.2022 Someone will be missing this little bunny! It was found after Little Joey’s -birth to 5 on Monday. If it belongs to your little one, call into St. Joseph’s office to collect it.

19.01.2022 During the term, the Kinders have been exploring the weather. We looked at all the different types of weather and have been filling in a weather chart during our morning routine. One of the types of weather that we have experienced is rainy, and during a science experiment we created a rain cloud. The Kinder children discussed what was going to happen and then we watched the rain fall from the shaving cream cloud.

13.01.2022 CHANGE OF ASSEMBLY TIME Dear Parents The renovations on our Music room will not be completed in time for our scheduled assembly on Wednesday. We have rescheduled our assembly time to THURSDAY 30TH JULY at 8.50am. ... SRC badges will be presented at this new time. We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause. 07.01.2022 DROPPING CHILDREN OFF AT SCHOOL Dear Parents... With a change in the recommendations concerning the Covid-19 virus parents may now enter your child’s classroom while dropping them off at school. We remind parents that for adults the 1.5 metre distance apart rule is still in place.

02.01.2022 We have been informed by Crawn’s bus service that there will no buses running today. This Includes the Rosebery town buses to school. The school is still open today but parents will have to provide their own transport for children if it safe to do so.
