18.01.2022 In one hadith our Prophet (saw) mentions 7 types of people whom Allah (swt) will shade on the day of Judgment, one of those is the one whose heart is attached to the mosque. (Bukhari) The intention behind taking the children to the mosque was one way in which we wanted the children to be attached to the mosque, to appreciate the sacred building and for children to know that a mosque is full of blessings, mercy and a place of belonging in our community. In preparation for Ramadan the Learning Nest children had the opportunity to visit the local mosque in Meadow Heights. They were welcomed with open arms where they met the imam, listened to him recite the athan, learnt about the different parts of the mosque and had a good run around.
