22.01.2022 As the first day of our Horse Sports event comes to a close, we would like to say a big thank you to all of our volunteers, students and staff. A lot of sacrifices have been made by many to ensure all of our students and competitors have an amazing two days. For all you do and continue to do, the obvious and not so obvious, THANK YOU

10.01.2022 As the Principal of St Lawrence’s, I have been able to witness first hand the amount of work and preparation that has gone into St Lawrence’s Horse Sports Event 2019. It takes many people to bring an event like this together. Apologies if I miss anyone, please know that your contribution is appreciated. I would like to thank the judges, stewards, our staff at the event and back at school manning the fort. Our Year 5/6 helpers, Maree Coyle and her band of many helpers, our o...ffice ladies -what a mammoth task, our volunteers who attended working bees to assist with the set up and packing up and our wonderful sponsors for their support. To our competitors and their families, I hope you have enjoyed the two days and will spread the word on what a wonderful event these days have been. To our two main drivers and organisers of the event Sue McGoldrick and Amanda Young - from all of our school community, thank you for an amazing job! There were many life lessons learnt from these two days, ups and downs, firsts, perseverance and confidences built and resilience taught. What you ladies provide for our students in the Agriculture department cannot be matched. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to Ag, our students and their learning and development and our school.
