24.04.2022 ResourceSmart Schools Awards 2022 - Finalists! We are delighted to announce that St Thomas More has been named a finalist for this year’s ResourceSmart Schools Awards. The RSS Awards are Victoria’s largest sustainability celebration for primary and secondary school students, teachers and school volunteers taking remarkable sustainability action. ... St Thomas More has been acknowledged in the category of Curriculum Leadership School of the Year. This category recognises teaching and learning of sustainability through the Victorian curriculum, and the creative and innovative approaches to addressing sustainability in lesson plans, units of work or school-wide curriculum. 29.03.2022 It was a very eggs-citing final assembly for Term 1. A big congratulations to all our Easter Raffle winners for 2022!! Also a big thank you to our Parents Association for organising a very successful raffle and to all families in the community that donated prizes.

26.03.2022 On Friday 26th March STM joined in observing the Earth Hour Schools Day. Classes participated by switching off all power for an hour or for some senior grades the whole day! Classes learnt about the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet and engage in offline activities centred around sustainable practices. These included a range of sustainable inspired learning tasks including; going for a nature walk down our beautiful environmental trail to find inspiration for writing a story, completing energy audits and creating class commitments to energy saving. #stmmteliza #catholicmelb #mteliza #morningtonpeninsula #primaryschool #community
