21.01.2022 One of the faces most often seen at the courts this year was Lauren Wilson. Whether it was umpiring, training brand new umpires or mentoring our older umpires she was always there to lend a hand. It is for this reason that Lauren has been awarded the St Ursula’s Netball Club 2020 Umpire of the Year. We are going to miss Lauren smiling face next season and wish her all the best.

16.01.2022 On Sunday evening our Cadet E Sun Bears had their break up at Bettys Burgers. Congratulations to Charlotte Doljanin who was awarded the Coaches Award and to Aaliyah Selby who was voted by her team mates as the Players Player. This teams fighting spirit had them in with a chance to make finals right until the last game missing out by only 1 point.

15.01.2022 Our U12 Gummi Bears had their break up at Inflatable World. Congratulations to Hannah Jones awarded the Coaches Award and Grace Thomas who was voted by her team mates as the Players Player. Sorry there is no trophy photos. Looking at these photos my guess is they were having too much fun.

11.01.2022 On a hot Saturday afternoon our Division 1 Ursie Bears combined their break up with a bit of a swim to cool off. Congratulations to Ella Baines who was awarded the Coaches Award and to Olivia Jones who was voted by her team mates as the Players Player. The Perfect Season is how you would sum up this team. Despite the heat, injuries, work commitments and ATAR this team went through the entire season without loss. What a way for our Year 12 graduates to leave us.

08.01.2022 To be named the senior netball player of the year you have to be more than just a great netball player. You also have to demonstrate service, leadership, sportsmanship and be a role model for our sport. It was my absolute honour to present the 2020 St Ursula’s Senior Player of the year to Jessica Cattonar. Her fulfilment of these qualities and commitment to the club, team and sport made her a very worthy recipient. Congratulations.

05.01.2022 Georgia Cattonar and Evie Noye finally received their umpire C badges yesterday with Louise Neenan our umpire Convenor on hand to present them to both girls.
