18.01.2022 One of the most beautiful Parks to visit in our region is Pioneer Park, but did you know that Pioneer Park was not always the beautiful open space that it is today? It was actually the site of Gawler's first cemetery, with the first recorded burial in 1847 and was used for burials until 1870 when headstones were moved to the Gawler Cemetery in Willaston.
