18.01.2022 Following new virus containment measures set down by the government today, the time has come to postpone all of my Pilates classes. In the mean time I will be working on the development of an on-line Pilates program that will enable the continuation of your Pilates journey; or at the very least, it will give you something to do during social distancing. So stay tuned, stay safe, and keep your t zone on until we meet again.

16.01.2022 Pilates tonight at Calais Estate Winery. 6pm. We are back in the barrel room tonight folks! Let's re-immerse ourselves in the wonderful aroma (the Angel's share) that only a great barrel room can provide!! #beginnerswelcome #palmerslane #pilates

09.01.2022 A few of my clients have contacted me today asking if classes are still going ahead. The information below is from NSW Health and was last updated today, 18 March 2020. Whilst the Pilates classes that I teach are not held at a gym, this is the most relevant information that I can find. And based on this information, and that which was presented by the Prime Minister this morning, classes are going ahead for now. "Is it safe for me to go to the gym? Keeping fit remains importa...nt. If you are well and have not been asked to self-isolate then you can go to the gym. Don’t go to the gym if you are unwell. Try to go to the gym when it’s less crowded. When at the gym, you should use wipes provided before you use each piece of equipment. Gym classes are currently OK, but this advice may change. Gyms should ensure that they are cleaning regularly, using appropriate disinfectant." NSW Health Commencing this week, all of my equipment: balls, bands, blocks and mats are disinfected after each class. The 'Australian Pilates Method Association' has listed a number of measures that Pilates teachers can put in place to help reduce risk of infection. Based on the information provided by APMA, I would ask that my clients wear socks (instead of bare feet) in class, and consider bringing a towel to place over mats and chairs. Should the current advice change, I will be sure to update my facebook page to keep you informed. If choose not to come to class to limit your exposure to the virus, then I fully support your decision. Everyone must make their own decisions about their own health, and those decisions must be respected by us all.
