24.01.2022 Stage 1 - Acute: Adrenal Activation "Girl you don't even know" DEFINITION: Girl on FIRE... But don't mistake this with a GIRL ON FIYAH ...these are 2 very different things. THis is the kinda fire caused by burning the candle at both ends... she's literally about to catch on FIRE. She's burning through adrenal fuel like it's going out of fashion, temporarily feeling on top of the world, high energy, BIG 'to do lists', she prides her self-worth on how much she can achieve and how many people she can please. Keeping up appearances is a big thing for stage 1 adrenal activation, girl is always in such a rush with her "busy" go go go lifestyle which makes her feel like shes winning at life but on the inside shes dying. Completely out of touch with her heart & disconnected from her feminine energy. Stage 2 - Adrenal Dysfunction: Semi Acute / Semi Chronic AKA: Girl sort your shit out, it's about to get real DEFINITION: Walking Disaster Girl is physically spent from doing to much and not honouring herself. After operating in auto-drive, more in her decision making masculine energy, she's now becoming irritable and snappy due to the resulting unconscious resentment she is now feeling towards other because she's continually putting others first and not giving to herself. The cracks are beginning to show and she's feeling physically & emotionally flat but still trying to put on a brave face & soldier on. This girl has ZERO boundaries & continually says no to herself as she says yes to everyone else Stage 3: Chronic: Adrenal Exhaustion AKA: Girl gone MIA DEFINITION: Hot Mess By this stage, girl is a shell of herself, she doesn't even know who she is anymore or what excites her, but she doesn't even have the energy or mental capacity to care about it as she's always sick or flat out dragging herself out of bed anyway. This is a forced body shut down due to the inability to continue carrying on because girl has spent all her resources and robbed Peter to pay Paul. It's yet another clever way the human body, eliminates, detoxes and releases energetically, the waste & byproducts of biological cellular processes, namely digestion & stuff we don't need in our body to function optimally. Here's what's not normal Really foul smelling farts (anytime of the month) Diarrhea during your period Constipation during your period So if you have a toxic, congested colon that is backed up with mucoid plaque, undigested food, overgrown with bad bacteria & maybe even parasites, because... 20.01.2022 *TRIGGER WARNING - VULNERABLE SHARE* What's the EMOTIONAL wound behind your FAT? When our body is reluctant to 'lose weight' inspite of healthy eating, exercising & making the appropriate healthy lifestyle changes... it generally means that there's an emotional wound that needs healing?... SHAME & REJECTION are the 2 biggest underlying contributors as to why your body CANNOT & WILL NOT let go of fat. When our emotional body is so deeply wounded, harbouring suppressed feelings of shame & rejection, from previous life experiences, we subconsciously choose to protect ourselves by 'padding' the physical body with layers of fat for protection. This serves to suppress the emotion so that the trauma is out of our conscious awareness & we cannot feel it anymore. It also allows the ego to 'be right' by keeping us stuck in the 'ego story' associated with the trauma we experienced as the core wound. Let me give you a VULNERABLE real life example... At age 23 I had my first 1 night stand & although this was something I consciously chose & thought I wanted at the time, it went against a lot of my subconscious programing & beliefs...at my core I believed that it was wrong, shameful, "only sluts do that" as they were the ego stories/beliefs that I carried. As a result, the experience turned out to be one of the worst of my life... Upon finishing the act I walked into the bathroom & returned to my bedroom several minutes later to find that he had promptly grabbed his stuff and run out the door without even saying goodbye or acknowledging me. In that moment I felt immense shame. I felt dirty & I blamed myself for how worthless I felt, believing that it was all my own fault for being so promiscuous & consenting to such a 'sinful act' in the first place. But vibrationally, that experience was the exact match as to what my ego believed. So of course I attracted a man who was willing to play out the role which allowed my ego to say 'see i told you so' making my ego stories right. Thats the the thing about the ego, it always wants to be right, so you will always call in the exact experiences you need to prove your beliefs right. 'Everything we experience in our day to day life is a direct reflection of our subconscious & conscious beliefs' So for many years I went on to believe that I was disgusting, unlovable, dirty & worthless & those feelings of shame & rejection, I believe are a big part of the reason why I gradually put on 13kg in the years to follow. It wasn't until I addressed the physical AND theemotional elements to my 'weight' gain that I was able to lose the weight. So what is the ego story that your 'fat' is trying to protect?



20.01.2022 'Hating our hormones'.... it's become such a toxic culture of blame & disconnection, leaving women suffering in their bodies more than ever! Ladies let's get a few things straight... YOUR HORMONES ARE JUST THE MESSENGERS...... Stop shooting the messenger & investigate what your 'imbalanced hormones' actually represents THE ACTUAL HORMONE IMBALANCE ISN'T A DISEASE... But it may be being caused by an underlying disease or a chronic illness that is starting to emerge, so don't try & balance your hormones with synthetic hormones, bio-identical hormones or even natural herbs & vitamins...the imbalance is alerting you to a potentially bigger problem, work out what that is! HORMONES GO OUT OF BALANCE BECAUSE SOMETHING IS MESSING WITH THEM... Usually some kind of 'stressor'. Identify it & rectify the problem....don't silence your hormones cry for help with the oral contraceptive pill or herbs. The stress will only continue to damage your tissues and organs further, but now in silence because you are masking the symptoms with your pill or product. 18.01.2022 I have ZERO doubt that stress is the leading cause of deaths tress, as stress is indicated in EVERY disease process known to man... Stress weakens our immune system Imbalances our hormones Burdens the liver ... Damages our cells Debilitates our emotional wellbeing AND absolutely makes us FAT!!! Stress is both a physical & psychological trigger If you feel stressed, due to finances, bullying, relationship struggles, fears etc the body will engage in the 'STRESS RESPONSE' If your bodies normal cellular functioning is compromised ie body becomes to acidic, blood pressure drops or increases, the cells become dehydrated etc the body will engage in the 'STRESS RESPONSE' When the STRESS RESPONSE is engaged, the central nervous system goes into the 'fight or flight' defence mechanism in order to protect us from danger & keep us alive This leads to an elevated production of cortisol & adrenaline which although it gives you the extra boost to run or think on your feet when in danger, these hormones have a debilitating effect on thr body, especially if you are producing them continually over an extended period of time....when you are STRESSED ALL THE TIME Long term effects of these hormones The body prefers 'quick hits of energy' in the form of glucose which fuels the 'fight or flight' response so you'll crave carbs more often, experience lows in blood sugar levels & eventually develop insulin resistance The liver becomes burdened & sluggish & its ability to burn fat as an energy source is compromised...so we start storing it instead Due to the body wanting to stay 'prepared' for danger it will intentionally store fat in preparation for hibernation When the adrenals are activated & eventually exhausted the thyroid will also be weakened leading to an underactive thyroid response Stress essentially means, your body won't burn fat effectively. SORT YOUR STRESS OUT...to be continued

17.01.2022 This is what Adrenal dysfunction looks like....do you recognise it? This was 2012....and years of partying, way to much alcohol, late nights and lack of sleep along with feeling completely disconnected from my body due to constantly rejecting myself, hating what I saw in the mirror & never really knowing who I was or what my passions were. At rock bottom, I was extremely depressed and chose to isolate myself, I didn't get out of bed at all for entire weekends, because I was ...exhausted and secondly because I hated how I looked. Cystic acne, absent periods, back & hip pain, fatigue, hot flushes. Despair. How did I get to that point? I hadn't listened to my body, all the little warning signs along the way ... The fatigue, the skin break outs, the constant coughs & colds, the eczema, the frequent digestive system upset.... I just continued to keep pushing myself, so much FOMO, worried about being left behind, desperately wanting to find love & be loved, never once honoring my body or stopping still long enough to ask it what it needed. Until it broke. Keeping on going when you are breaking isn't actually a sign of strength... It's self-abuse.

17.01.2022 Stage 3: Chronic: Adrenal Exhaustion AKA: Girl gone MIA DEFINITION: Hot Mess ... Low energy levels consistently throughout the day Depression or low mood Sleeping regularly and for long periods but never feels refreshed Commonly eat a lot of processed refined sugars and take away foods due to lack of energy but also have developed a lot of food intolerances, especially to gluten and dairy History of past viral infection as well as frequent infections ongoing Can be severely underweight or overweight but typically starting to store more body fat all over the body Lack of motivation and energy, feelings of hopelessness, sick of being sick and not feeling oneself More prone to constipation Underactive thyroid, high TSH levels, with thyroid antibodies starting to rise Hair loss, Skin rashes, Weak nails Food intolerances, daily bloating Loss of appetite, regular nausea Very irregular periods, often with absence of a period for extended periods of time No Dream recall Cortisol deficiency, adrenals unable to produce adequate amounts Tired, sore aching, weak muscles Full body fluid retention, especially legs, ankles & waistline At this stage, your body is going into forced shut down. For all those years of 'pushing on', keeping on going even though you were exhausted because of your 'responsibilities & over committing to extra activities, social engagements & looking out for others. At stage 3, you have no choice but to surrender & feel. Are you hearing this Stage 2 ladies?!?!?!

16.01.2022 Trying to 'Balance' your hormones is like trying to fill a leaky bucket with water. It doesn't work, you're not supposed to do it, your hormones DONT WANT TO BE BALANCED...they just want you to listen. Here's the thing...... Your hormones are chemical messengers, they are letting you know through their imbalance & associated symptoms that something is WRONG with your health. If we try and 'balance our hormones' by 'measuring' & testing them in your blood then using synthetic hormones, bio-identical hormones or herbs and nutrients to balance them.... YOU ARE TOTALLY MISSING THE POINT AS TO WHY THEY WERE IMBALANCED IN THE FIRST PLACE.... AND Doing yourself and your health a massive disservice. 13.01.2022 Understanding the difference between Oestrogen Dominance & Progesterone Deficiency and how getting it wrong can be deadly.

13.01.2022 When you hit adrenal fatigue....no drug is going to dig yourself out of the ground you have run yourself into And while I'm at it, this goes for all hormones, not just your adrenal hormones, it's your oestrogen, progesterone, insulin testosterone & every other hormone in your body. Because here's the thing...a hormonal imbalance ISN'T a disease.....yet.... When you are struggling with a hormonal related condition like adrenal fatigue, PMS, thyroid problems, period pain or so forth, your hormones became out of balance for a REASON... To let you know that something in your body isn't working properly & it needs your immediate attention. The issues causing the hormonal imbalance are generally always associated with the following things... Stress Congestion through the colon An underlying infection Sluggish liver detoxification Toxicity Leaky Gut Imbalanced Gut microflora Depletion through the digestive system Nutritional depletion Inflammation Emotional trauma Over working/Over training Sleep deprivation Taking a DRUG will at best mask the symptoms for a little while, but all these factors will persist if not addressed and then chronic disease really kicks in, not just at a surface level, im talking organ issues. STOP IGNORING YOUR BODY & start taking a proactive approach to understanding the messages your body is trying to give you through symptoms & healing Sure drugs have their place (on pretty rare occasions in my opinion) but the reality is, if you try and mask a hormonal conditions with drugs & synthetic hormones you are going to fuck up your body in the long run. Think, Cancers, Alzhimers disease, Dementia, Renal failure & Heart disease etc, the super serious stuff that robs you of your quality of life and actually kills you. 12.01.2022 Let's not forget about Progesterone. I feel like oestrogen dominance is always in the spotlight, I personally am always banging on about the dangers of synthetic oestrogens building up in your body, but let's not forget about synthetic progesterones too. Things like the mireena & the Depo shot which are predominantly synthetic forms of progesterone are becoming more and more prevalent choices for women for contraception, but more dangerously, being used to treat conditions su...ch as heavy bleeding and Endometriosis. Treating hormone imbalances with synthetic hormones or even 'natural products' to directly manipulate your hormone levels is ALWAYS going to be a bad idea as it makes us vulnerable to the 'straw that broke the camels back' scenario and sets you up for a lifetime of juggling prescriptions & reliance on an external 'medicine' to allow you to function. As you'll see in the image above there's a fine line between excess & deficiency & treating hormones without first addressing the reason WHY your hormones are imbalanced in the first place will only lead to a reoccurrence down the track or worse, permanent damage to your organs & irreversible hyperstimulation or complete shut down of hormone producing glands & reproductive functions, like your fertility. It all comes down to knowing your body, being aware of any of the above symptoms occurring in your body & a willingness to listen and address the issue holistically.

12.01.2022 You can't tell me diet & lifestyle doesn't make a difference to your condition.... If you have Endo or PCOS or a thyroid problem or any other auto-immune or hormone related condition & you think the drugs from your GP or specialist are the only thing that are going to help you....WELL, you are missing a major piece of the puzzle Girl on the left (me in 2012) ... Meat eater Gluten in diet Drank Alcohol 5 days a week Exercised excessively 10 sessions a week Drank fluoridated water Ate 3-4 blocks of chocolate a week to self-soothe Took up to 6 'natural' but synthetic vitamin pills a day which did nothing Yo-yo'd on & off every diet under the sun Believed she was fat, ugly Desperately wanted to be loved & accepted Afraid to share her knowledge in Naturopathy Zero self-belief Girl on Right (me 2020) Plant based diet minus some cheese 99% gluten free Drinks alcohol 2 days a week Daily Enemas Drinks ionized water only Eat 1/2 block a week Daily cold pressed juice Functional food supplements only Colon cleanses 3-4 times a year Following her purpose & speaking her truth Needs no ones approval Still gets wobbly sometimes but has learnt how to pick herself back up A lifestyle overhaul can absolutely feel overwhelming, i get it completely. I was once that girl, I understand you. But there is a spark inside you that still burns, that is waiting to be ignited, you just need to find the right inspiration, support system, mentor & motivation to kick start your journey. 1 step at a time...no transformation ever occurs over night, but you are too beautiful to keep hiding behind your shame, self-loathing & disbelief, all it takes is one little leap of faith & someone to hold your hand

11.01.2022 Your body is ALWAYS communicating with you....& here's what it is trying to tell you when you experience PMS... Firstly....PMS is a blessing in disguise & can actually help change your life in the most amazing ways....IF you are actually willing to tune in & listen to what your 'imbalanced hormones' are communicating... As I will continue to reiterate...... HEALTH is always influenced by physical, emotional & spiritual elements so it's important to look, listen & feel in order to answer your bodies cry for help... PHYSICALLY You are not metabolising your progesterone properly or you may not even be producing enough Stress & cortisol levels are an issue You're probably deficient in Mg, B6, Zinc, Iron & Chromium You have a build up of environmental xeno-oestrogens Your liver isn't doing a very good job of recycling your oestrogens (you need a cleanse) Serotonin production is compromised You're balance of omega 3:6 oils is out of whack EMOTIONALLY Although there are various forms of PMS, typically speaking a premenstrual woman is emotionally unstable & easily triggered because she has been spreading her energy too thin, depleting her own resources, making her feel incredibly shakey & vulnerable to sudden change. Anger outbursts followed by inconsolable tears. When our foundation is wobbley we don't have the emotional resilience to keep it all together when unexpected situations arise. SPIRITUALLY A woman who feels like she's on an emotional roller coaster in the lead up to her bleed, has probably been biting her tongue, not speaking up, not asking for what she needs, not priorirorizing her own self care & then when the PMS window rolls around she explodes due to all the suppressed feelings & needs in the month prior. Therefore the 'triggers' which set you off in this stage of your cycle, provide clues as to where you are not meeting your needs & what must change in your life in order for you to feel worthy, validated & acknowledged. Remember projection & blame get us nowhere...triggers are a gift if we can own them & explore the deeper meaning that someone else has brought to the surface. Use your PMS as a guide to change your direction in life, even if this is just skight pivots in your perception

11.01.2022 It sounds good in theory right.....but how many of you, after a momentary fist pump reverted back too....I could never do that, there's so much to do around the house, what will they think of me.... Our beliefs & the standards & pressures we put on ourselves, fueled by needing approval and validation from others in order to feel worthy or loved is one of the major reasons why YOU HAVE ADRENAL FATIGUE. Let that sink in for a minute.... How would your life look if you really stopped giving a fuck what everyone else thought of you & just started enjoying every moment & celebrating YOU in your perfectly imperfect state?

Or do you feel like you eat well & exercise but nothing seems to shift the extra weight Utilising fat as an energy source compared to glucose is actually a more involved process which requires more resources from your cells and organs in order to get the job done.
