24.01.2022 Another happy patient after seeing our in house Pyhsio Claudia Jo has been experiencing shooting pain in the back and down the leg for the last couple of months. Her hamstring & glute muscles are being sensitised by some nerves, and they have lots of trigger points! This video shows me doing some trigger point release on the glutes. We are working towards getting Jo back to the gym ASAP, pain free! ... If you have any symptoms similar to these, feel free to ask me more at the gym or DM us @bouncephysiowa

19.01.2022 "How to Wednesday's" Today @harryjamestraining is taking us through the bench dumbbell row. Ensure both legs are aligned beside the bench to avoid hernias , ( this exercise has been know to cause them)... Shoulder down and back before starting the movement Back nice and straight , core engaged Pull the dumbbell using the lats towards the hips , like your putting it in your pocket! Lift heavier than you can , mind muscle connection is a lot more beneficial here! Happy Pull day

18.01.2022 An update from Physio Claudia: Rhi has been suffering with some elbow pain at work over the last few months. She has what is called Tennis Elbow which is caused by overuse of the tendons in our forearm near the elbow joint. Treatment for tennis elbow involves massage, dry needling, and strengthening of the forearm muscles! Rhi has progressed from 3kg to 5kg forearm curls over the last few weeks ... A session with me typically consists of an assessment of your injury, an action plan which details the diagnosis, time frames & proposed treatment plan for your rehab, and hands on treatment for some relief! He specialises in power building and body recomposition but also has a history in rowing and coaching strength and conditioning for rugby and baseball players. The doors will be open this Saturday from 9am to 3pm so make sure to come on down and say hello.... We understand the next 6 to 12 months is going to be a fight to keep the gyms operating, but we're going to do everything we can to keep all of our local gym alive. Straight back for back extension, on the way down and up, allowing your back muscles to do the work they will let you know when to stop Rounded upper back for the Glutes and hammies as well as pressing your ankles into the pads at the back, squeeze the Glutes at the top Slow and steady wins the race!!! 08.01.2022 How to effectively use the wow wipes. 1. Take 1 wipe and move to the exercise. Wipe down all the surfaces you will be in contact with. For example DB wipe handle and outside of DB 2. Do the exercise until finished. 3. Go back to the wipe station amd get a 2nd wipe. wipe down all surface you touched. 4. Put wipes in the bin. ... 5. Repeat process.. See more

05.01.2022 Dear Member, Firstly and most importantly, we hope you are all staying healthy during this surreal time in the world!! As you are probably very aware, the federal government ordered the closure on non-essential businesses, so our gym business will close at 9AM Perth, Monday March 23, 2020. We apologise for the early closer but the information we received states EST and we only became aware that it was not that this morning.... Like all small businesses, this is a devastating blow. We have done all we could to keep our members safe and healthy during this challenging time, by providing a hygienic facility for them to feel comfortable in, while staying fit for their future. Our wonderful members helped immensely by cleaning machines after use and being proactive around the gym. This has allowed us to stay open for as long as we have and keep offering the service to our members. We THANK YOU ALL for this help and support! With this announcement by the government, we will obviously be closing our business for the indefinite future. Like every other small business, if we are too survive the period and come out the other side, we need your help. We are all in this together and empathy must be reciprocated so we can all come out the other side of this. We will obviously initiate the suspensions of everyones payments in accordance with our partner Paysmart that has happened this morning 23rd of March 2020. FYIthere are obvious indications that being fit and healthy during this period is even more important now, than ever!! We hope you do your best to maintain a healthy lifestyle, despite what is happening. It could save your life!! Remember, our Personal Trainers are still working and can keep you fit with outside training sessions. They can continue to help you and you will definitely be helping them!!
