Sage is currently performing in the Australian premiere of FROZEN THE MUSICAL and we can’t wait for her to work with our students! ... From Melbourne, Sage began her training at Centrestage Performing Arts School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) from WAAPA in 2010. She is currently understudying the roles of Queen Iduna and Bulda in Frozen the Musical at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney (Disney Theatricals). Other theatre credits include, Emma Goldman in ‘Ragtime’, Val in A Chorus Line (TML Productions), Dorothy Parker/Ethel Peas in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Anybodys in West Side Story (TPC), Jersey Boys (New Theatricals Australian tour), The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch/Aunt Em cover - GFO), A Fine Romance, Jesus Christ Superstar, Funny Girl, Heathers (Showqueen Productions), Nine, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Loving Repeating, and The Damned (BSSTC). 17.01.2022 We are very excited to announce our next Guest Artist for 2021 - a dear friend of ours and a much loved and respected veteran of the Australian stage, John O’Hara! John O’Hara is one of the country’s most versatile and in demand performers. Hailing from Perth and a graduate of WAAPA, John’s professional music theatre highlights include his award nominating portrayal of Ned Schneebly in School of Rock, Bernadette in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Rodney in Dusty, Rum Tum T...ugger in Cats, Roscoe Dexter in Singin’ In The Rain, Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar and The Father in the tenth anniversary tour of Wicked. Other credits include Hair, Shout!, Eureka, Leader Of The Pack, High Society, Oklahoma!, The Rocky Horror Show, The Boy From Oz, Rock of Ages, Company, Grease, Elegies, Songs For A New World, Songs From An Unmade Bed as part of American Song Cycle: A Double Bill and Any Moment for the Melbourne Cabaret Festival. John is a featured vocalist for internationally esteemed Queen tribute act Rock Rhapsody, performing ongoing engagements regularly at all corners of the globe. John’s writing credits include his solo cabaret #VAL - A Campfire Kiki With Mother, commissioned exclusively by Perth Theatre Trust. #VAL garnered 5 star reviews and has played sellout seasons in Perth for Downstairs At The Maj’s 2018 season and in Melbourne for Midsumma Festival 2019 and ChillOut Festival 2020. Other self penned works include Dedications, commissioned by Adelaide Cabaret Festival and A Very Merry Christmas Cabaret for Perth Theatre Trust. A continuing champion for new Australian music theatre, John attended ongoing workshop processes for Georgy Girl, Matthew Lee Robinson’s Happy People and most recently The Dressmaker for James Millar and Peter Rutherford. John is a qualified marriage celebrant and a popular radio broadcaster for Melbourne’s JOY94.9 appearing as one half the hugely successful Dee and Johnno Show and most recently going it solo for the The Drive Thru With Johnno.
