17.01.2022 Yesterday marked the first day of the Advent calendar, a four week period of anticipation for the birth of Jesus Christ. On the fourth Sunday before Christmas, the purple candle represents hope.

16.01.2022 Girls Panther Trophy Rugby League Gala Day. After such a tough year with limited sports opportunities across the school, the girls involved represented St Agnes incredibly well and did us all proud. Both teams played in great spirits throughout, with special mention to our U16s who managed to go undefeated on the day! Furthermore, the nominated helpers were awesome in assisting everything from warming up the girls for each game, strapping any niggling injuries and even assisting the competition organisers to help the day run smoothly.

15.01.2022 Year 7 Orientation is tomorrow and we can't wait to welcome our 2021 Year 7 students! The attached Kids Helpline tips on the transition to High School are a great tool in keeping students free from the anxiety of High School.

05.01.2022 We welcomed our 2021 Year 7 Cohort today. I'm sure by the end of the day, they all feel comfortable and have made some new friends and will come back in the New Year feeling relaxed and ready to start High School. Thank you to our great Year 9 students that led the students in discussions and scenarios and made the students feel comfortable.

04.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK 2020 This morning we came together to celebrate and acknowledge the traditional custodians of our land. As our students attended school they were welcomed with the colours of the land, the sky and our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. And were introduced to the new Junior Aboriginal Executive Consultative Group. Students were live-streamed the NAIDOC Day Ceremonies. We started off with a prayer that symbolises the beautiful way that the traditiona...l beliefs and values of our Indigenous people fuse with our Catholic values. We were then cleansed with a Traditional Smoking Ceremony and then some traditional dances. All students were amazing!

01.01.2022 On Thursday evening we celebrated the success of the Year 12 class of 2020. Our first graduates did us extremely proud, not just on the evening but over the past 12 months. The feedback from the staff at The Colebee Centre was glowing in regards to how the students presented, conducted and enjoyed themselves.
