10.01.2022 Dear Parents and Carers, I am writing to update you on the recent announcements made by the Premier and the Chief Medical Health Office on Sunday 6 September 2020. The details are outlined below:... St Albans Meadows will continue to provide remote and flexible learning for the remainder of Term 3. Remote and flexible learning will continue in the first week of Term 4 (5-9 October) for all students. Students in Prep to Grade 2 will return to full-time on-site schooling from Monday 12 October (the existing remote learning program will not continue for these year levels after this date). Remote and flexible learning will continue for all students in Year 3 to Year 6 in Term 4, 2020 (there is a tentative date for 26th October for the return of these year levels to face-to-face learning, however, this will be subject to further health advice). On-site supervision for children of permitted workers and vulnerable students will continue to be provided, consistent with existing guidelines. Extend will continue to provide outside school hours care to students attending for on-site supervision, and progressively for the relevant year levels as they return to on-site learning. Obviously, our preferred option is to have all our children learning back on-site together, and we eagerly look forward to when this virus is under control to the extent that restrictions can be eased. In the meantime, I will endeavour to keep you informed in as timely a manner as possible with more information as it becomes available to me. Please stay safe, stay well and stay home, Steve Crockford

04.01.2022 A New World Record Former Wiggle Greg Pages not-for-profit, Heart of The Nation, and Nextdoor are joining forces to save Aussie lives. With one simple step, you can help save a family member, friend, or neighbour. ... Earlier this year, Greg survived a cardiac arrest thanks to some brave bystanders who were in the audience of The Wiggles' concert. An audience member revived Greg by using CPR and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Greg was lucky, because the survival rate for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is only 10%. We want to change this. The Australian Resuscitation Council states that any attempt at resuscitation is better than no attempt. Greg says, Our goal is to get as many people as possible educated about this mantra, and confident enough to have a go at CPR if they ever need to. Together, Heart of the Nation and Nextdoor are on a mission to provide free CPR and AED training to more Aussies than ever before. Greg and Surf Lifesaving Australia will lead a special virtual training class on the 19th of September, at 7pm AEST https://go.nextdoor.com/heartoftheneighbourhood
