19.01.2022 Job Thief by Angus C. Year 7, St Joseph's School. This artwork is based on the COVID-19 and the effect it has had on the economics and focuses on the people who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and need money from Centrelink while COVID-19 keeps them from being able to work. Some key imagery chosen was the Centrelink sign in order to make sure the viewer knows that the long line of people are outside of Centrelink. I used lines in the background which create the contrast ...and pattern. Part of the Crisps Youth Art Prize. Until 18 October. The theme of the exhibition this year is Earth Air Fire & Water: Creating Art & Documenting Drought, Fire & Covid 19 on the Granite Belt. We received almost 1000 entries from the youth of the Granite Belt region.

13.01.2022 One by One by Noah T. Year 7, St Joseph's School. This artwork shows the COVID 19 monster spreading fear for the people (sheep). The covid monster is looming in the background as the people (sheep) panic and stockpile toilet paper. The sheep walking into the toilet paper store showed herd mentality and they did this from the economic crisis caused by the COVID monster. I added hatched lines in the background to make it look like Mock's work.... Part of the Crisps Youth Art Prize. Until 18 October. The theme of the exhibition this year is Earth Air Fire & Water: Creating Art & Documenting Drought, Fire & Covid 19 on the Granite Belt.
