10.01.2022 Found a few articles about the Theatre from the 1950's Turns out the Stanthorpe Little Theatre groups hosted the first of the Little Theatre ABC Broadcasts in 1950! Also featured in the Sunday Mail was the upcoming shows at the Stanthorpe Repertory Theatre with the then wife of the Australian Prime Minister R G Menzies visiting!

04.01.2022 Yes! Our Sept Open Mic Night is going ahead. Stanthorpe Little Theatre have a COVID Safe plan. To keep in line with recent changes with COVID guidelines, and for everyones safety - Sanitise with the hand pump sanitiser and then sign in on the COVID Register when you arrive ( this will be on the verandah area) ... Pay your entrance fee ($5) at the bar area and mark off your seat on the sheet.( SLT Members are free - show FOH your online ticket) Just sit in that one seat you have marked off. Use the sanitiser wipe provided to wipe it down before you sit. Social and family members are allowed to sit together. All others must mark/ leave a seat between them and next guest. Every second row in the theatre will be marked off as unavailable to ensure social distancing is maintained. If you feel unwell; please don't come along. As the Little Theatre has a COVID safe plan, we are allowed to have a maximum of 40 people in the audience, however, social distancing still needs to be observed for the safety of all. Strange and challenging times - but we will get through it.
