22.01.2022 We are so excited to announce that in 2021, Starbound Entertainers Festival will be an official qualifying event for the Showcase Australian Dance Championships! That means all acts (solos, duos/trios and groups) that place first, second or third at a 2021 Starbound event will qualify to attend the Showcase Australian Dance Championships National Finals, being held on the Gold Coast in January 2022. Additionally, Starbound will be introducing a new championship section ‘Danc...er of the Year’ for the following age groups: Junior (10/U), Pre-Teen (11 12), Teen (13 14) and Senior (15 18), with fantastic prizes including a $100 Showcase gift voucher up for grabs in each division! More information will be released in the coming weeks, so make sure you are following our Facebook page to stay up to date. 12.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap for StarBound 2020 Julie & I would like to THANK each and every one of you who participated in StarBound (Groups Solos / Duos &Trios) 2020. Thanks to you all it was a great success. It took us months of preparation to get it together and on multiple occasions we wondered if we were doing the right thing by proceeding. Our aim was to get these kids on stage at least once this year. Everyone abided by all the rules and we managed to have great audiences f...or the kids to perform to a well. We did it . We have had some amazing feedback; THANK YOU. Also a big Thank you to the venues: 1. Somerset College & 2. Glow Church For allowing us to run StarBound in your amazing venues in such unusual times. We have already submitted our proposed dates for both of these venues for next year. We are sorry for all the interstate competitors who usually participate that unfortunately due to the restrictions couldn’t do so this year. We hope you can all join us again next year. We would like to thank all of the volunteers for your help and support this year including: Everyone who helped with the preparations The runners who ran to and from the dressing rooms Front of house workers who helped people check in with the COVID app, making sure everyone was social distancing and sanitized the theatre after each session Backstage helpers Announcers Etc. You all know who you are THANK YOU * THANK YOU * THANK YOU Also Thank you to Events HD & FS Productions you guys are amazing. We are looking forward to 2021. 1. April - solos/ duos/ trios 2. Thanks everyone for your patience with the video deliveries and audio Critique Deliveries. If you are still having troubles accessing ‘my-login.com.au’, please consider whether your dance school or teacher submitted your music for you as their email address may be the one you need to access these videos. We are busy processing the final days videos now so they will begin to appear soon if they haven’t already. Please note that we will do our best to reply to everyone as soon as we can and we have backups of EVERY routine. So if you haven’t received your order we will get them to you. ALL Videos and Critiques will have been uploaded by no later than 4pm Sunday, 27th September. If you haven’t got access to your critiques by then please contact the music upload team directly. If you haven’t placed an order yet but still would like to, you’re in luck! Although our focus while filming is on all ordered routines, we still managed to record every routine during this event.
