13.01.2022 On Monday the Year 5 students enjoyed an incursion with a visit from Starlab planetarium dome. The students are investigating the planets in their solar system ...in Science this term and enjoyed viewing sections of the universe inside the Starlab dome. Images of deep space were projected on the concave screen to give the students an amazing close-up view of the planets in our solar system and the position of earth in our galaxy the Milky Way which is one of the billions of galaxies in the vast universe. The images showed how amazing God is to place the earth in the perfect or ‘Goldilocks Position’ in the universe. We are positioned to view the majesty of the universe and not too close and not too far away from the sun. Our earth is tilted on an axis that is just perfect to provide an atmosphere and give us our seasons. We are the only planet to have all the necessary components for life. See more
