15.01.2022 Financial tip: automate your savings. Set up automatic transfers from your everyday account to a savings account - make out of sight, out of mind work for you. If you dont see the money in your account, youre less likely to spend it. And to make it even more effective - dont have an EFTPOS or direct debit card linked to the savings account. That way you wont accidentally use it or be tempted in a moment of weakness. Dont have a lot of discretionary income? Thats ok - start with a small amount each fortnight/payday. Start with $10-20 - it all still adds up over time.
