22.01.2022 HELLO SATURDAY IN TOOWOOMBA || Can you have Chocolate for breakfast? Well it’s the weekend so we say yes to that! Kick your Saturday off with a coffee & a serv...e of death by chocolate waffles at Emerge Cafe in Station St. This indulgent breakfast is seriously what chocolate lovers dream of. Crisp golden waffles topped with ice cream, crushed Oreos, drizzled with Nutella and you guessed it...more chocolate. Yum! Next, walk!! Well after all that chocolate a walk is probably a great idea so why not go on a little road trip adventure to Yarramalong Weir which is about 30ks east of Millmerran Fingers crossed it will fine up so pack up the fam for an afternoon by the water, there’s picnic tables and tranquility guaranteed! You can take your dog ( on leash at all times) and there are picnic tables & toilets there. Pack drinking water & lunch or call into CC’s on the range for some fresh sandwiches & pastries to enjoy at the weir. That’s our Saturday suggestion, enjoyx

21.01.2022 HELLO SATURDAY IN TOOWOOMBA We are going to start with coffee (of course) and make it a drive thru today as we need to hit the road on a little foodie/ garden a...dventure, who doesn’t love a road trip right! So where to go for Drive thru coffee bright and early on a Saturday morning? We recommend you find your caffeine fix at your nearest Pump café right here in Toowoomba. At Pump they serve up amazing Merlo coffee and you don’t even have to get out of your car to order...winning!! Try Pump Wyalla Plaza in Taylor St or Pump@123 in Russell St. A Bacon and Egg sandwich is our "go to" brekky recommendation from the Pump Drive Thru menu if you are feeling hungry. Always fresh made, and delicious! So coffee and bacon and egg sanger sorted, it’s time to head to the quaint little country town of Pittsworth where you will find the The Grove Country Gardens nursery. The weather is perfect for planting so take some time to browse through the selection of colourful perennials, salvia’s and shrubs, all suited to Australian conditions and grown with the utmost of care. Say g’day to Matthew and get some tips on what to plant now for a beautiful splash of colour in your garden this spring. Remember the small businesses in our community when planning your spring garden. It’s easy to head to the big box retailers for plants (we get that) but remember, now more than ever, small family run businesses need your support and that support is so very much appreciated If all of this garden gazing and planning has made you hungry then head to Beck's Coffee House for a slice of the most delicious homemade cake and a pot of tea, or stay for lunch.You will love this popular little café in the heart of Pittsworth.
