25.01.2022 St Bede’s is thrilled to participate once again in the Anglicare Toys ‘n’ Tucker Christmas appeal. This year, the campaign hopes to distribute 6000 food hampers and 4500 toy hampers to families in need. We’d love for you to partner with us in reaching even more people! When you are doing your groceries in the next few weeks, add a few extra items of non-perishable food and new toys to the trolley & drop them off next time you’re at the church. 05.01.2022 TOMORROW from 10-11:30am! We are so pleased that playgroup can start back up again! In light of Covid restrictions, there will be some important changes to how playgroup is run. Please read the following information carefully before you come along. Please note that children do not need to be socially distant from each other, however, they do need to keep their distance from adults. All adults must maintain a 1.5m distance from each other.... Time: 10-11:30am Where: Playgroup will run in the front garden of the church - this is because there is more room to be socially distant. Please bring: Your own food and drinks (there will be no food or beverages provided by the church, so please stop by your favourite cafe on the way and grab yourself a coffee!), a picnic rug to sit on and eat with your child/children, a scooter/balance bike for your child to ride on the pathway and any favourite toys that your child might like to play with. What we will provide: We will have the large toys out (i.e. the tonker cars, the cubby house etc) and we will also have individual craft bags available. Story time: Story time can still happen (thank goodness!) however, we are not allowed to sing together. We are allowed to dance, say rhymes, read books and have fun though! On arrival: We will need you to do three things on arrival; have your temperature taken, sanitise your hands and sign in.
