22.01.2022 PERPETUAL AWARDS VOTING 2020! Is there a club member that you think should be recognised for their hard work at our 2020 Presentation Day? You can nominate them via email to our Vice President, Jacqui Holden, for any of the below Perpetual Awards. *Club Person of the Year:* A club member who has strived above and beyond the normal call of duty for the club in a voluntary capacity during 2020. Someone who has made a REAL difference to the Club and benefitted it greatly.... *Spirit of Sport Award:* A junior player who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season. *Senior Player of the Year:* A senior player worthy of recognition for their contribution during the recent season (aged 18 years or older). *Contribution Award:* Any club member who has contributed to STBNC above and beyond! *Coach of the Year:* A coach worthy of recognition! Are they exceptional, inspiring, dedicated to skills and fun on the court? Let us know! *Team Spirit of Sport Award:* A team who you have seen beat the odds, maintain great sportsmanship, or improve greatly this year. (Formerly know as the Team Encouragement Award) Email your nominations (and a few sentences as to why you have chosen them) through to Vice President, Jacqui Holden, at [email protected] before October 10th!

16.01.2022 A reminder that the 2020 Club AGM will be held tomorrow night at 7.30pm in the Marian Centre! This will also be a collection point for team trophies and a drop off for coaches bags/equipment to Equipment Officer, Carolyn Lincoln. We hope to see you there! Also, a final reminder to coaches to please submit your season team report to Promotions Officer, Claire, by tonight so she can publish the 2020 Newsletter during tomorrow’s meeting!

14.01.2022 Tonight and tomorrow mark our last round of Netball for the 2020 Season! Don’t forget your Crazy Hair and Socks! As stated in the below post from BHSNA, regular COVID restrictions apply (1 spectator per player, evacuating the court spaces as soon as your game finishes, congregating in the designated zones). Good luck and have fun!

10.01.2022 CLUB PRESENTATION DAY CANCELLED Unfortunately, our Club Presentation Day WILL NOT be going ahead this Sunday, due to COVID requirements not allowing sporting clubs to hold presentation events. All playing members will still receive a trophy- these trophies will be given to Coaches on the evening of the AGM (26th October) and Perpetual Trophy winners will also be recognised at this meeting. The AGM is open to all club members, so you are welcome to come along should you wis...h to participate in our 2021 Committee or get involved in other respects throughout the next season. This was a disappointing but necessary decision for us to make in our 45th year as a Club.
