13.01.2022 With just over 24hrs until we start 2 days of fun filled action at Steel City Raceway there are Entrants already arriving. Today the pits will be open from 9am for entrants and their crews to start setting up. ALSO don't forget the display at Mcdonalds in Whyalla with some of the entrants. Jen Marshall and her band of merry helpers will be there handing out all the details of the event. I would like to take this opportunity to THANK her and the guys and girls that have travelled early to help do this for our event. 11.01.2022 Entrants: *Lighting System - 1/8th mile Go-to-Whao* As some people already know, the drivers briefing is now underway.. We don't just use flags and officials for our Go-to-Whoa here, and actually use the drag strip and timing system to record our details.. I just wanted to put our lighting system (seen at the end of the track) on here for you. ... Go Stop - Hold for 4 seconds Too Far - Can reverse back (penalties may apply) You will pull up and stage, using the lights like a normal drag racing run. If you have any questions feel free to ask one of our officials. Let's get to it!

06.01.2022 Ok so we have our display at McDonalds in Whyalla on Friday from 9.30am until 4.00pm We will be setting up from 9am who would like to bring their car and put on display?? We already have a couple of awesome local cars coming but would like at least another 4 or so. 06.01.2022 Well the news that everyone has been waiting for. The date has finally been set for 2021 and it is May 15th & 16th. We have moved back to May so you can all enjoy your fire drums and keep warm in the pits at night. Please share the date and we will keep you up to date with any news as time gets closer.

03.01.2022 If you haven't yet done your online entry don't worry you can now just enter on the day. If you want you can still download the odd version to print off and fill it in to bring with you. This will make it quicker to be processed.
