21.01.2022 How was your weekend? It was great to finally get out after a few lower back issues over the last week.

21.01.2022 Apparently you don't need to pull the lever with Sram Level brakes!

21.01.2022 This client has had issues with creaking and noises from his bottom bracket from new. We found an incorrect bearing with a 30mm ID had been fitted on the non drive side instead of the 28mm ID bearing that's supposed to be there. No idea when this happened as its been to a couple of bike shops for this problem previously but my guess is it was done during assembly in the factory and most have assumed it to be correct, put some grease on it to stop the noise and sent it on its way.

21.01.2022 #allbikesneedlove When you have 7 boys with 7 bikes, servicing can get expensive. After being quoted $140 per bike at their local lbs this family reached out for some affordable servicing. 5 bikes are now done and only one has gone over $100 and it needed new forks! Servicing a bike like this should not cost more than servicing my van.

20.01.2022 A quick service to this Trailmech hub today that was getting very noisy, and these thing are already very loud! The vortex ring engagement looks to be a very solid option.

20.01.2022 Hey steezy crew, as I'm riding the 24hr next weekend and I haven't been able to get any rides in this week, and my bike has been neglected and needs a tune up, I can't take on any more work for next week. Thank you.

18.01.2022 Time to geek out and learn all the differences between Shimano's 12sp groups.

16.01.2022 A couple more through the workshop, Trek Fuel EX for some fine tuning of the gears. Commencal Meta HT for a brake swap from Sram Level to what I believe are the best bang for your buck brake on the market, Shimano MT 500 2 pot on the rear and the MT 520 4 pot on the front.

16.01.2022 New bearings, a freehub body and the electronics from a dead #powertap hub and now we train with #power

11.01.2022 Why you should ignore stravas estimated power. Same ride, very similar heart rate zones and average, photo 1 with a power meter, photo 2 without.

05.01.2022 From a $300 Malvern star service to a $6500 Canyon strive frame swap!

01.01.2022 Steezy: Riding in such a way that it looks effortless, stylish, and elegant.
