14.01.2022 The finished product of the deck ready for tiling. Note the bolts on the handrail in place and waterproofed around. This is the correct way to construct a deck like this although there are other variations it can be done by other builders. There is nowhere for water to penetrate. We also put a 1:10 fall on it as well to provide water run off as it had been built up to be level before.

14.01.2022 Been to IKEA, Amart and bought some Flat Pack furniture. Save yourself the headache of building it your self. We have very competitive rates for this service and dont have any left over screws ;-)

05.01.2022 Calling all builders !!! Just putting it out there as an addition to my business. Being in the industry as long as I have, I know it can be hard from a management point of view, when a supervisor wants to take leave at a busy time. Or you have a busy period for a few weeks which puts unnecessary strain on valued employees or management wondering whether or not to employ more staff. What Im looking into offering is contract based supervision. To cover people for holidays an...d to save companies putting unnecessary strain on employees for a short busy time. This is a service I would offer Australia wide for as little or as long as required. Please let me know your thoughts as I will look into marketing this more #SPMC #happytohelpthoseinneed Cheers Mark

05.01.2022 Here are some pics of one of our latest jobs, a client designed tv unit built from Laminated finger jointed pine and stained by clients. Well done Big Fella great job !!

05.01.2022 Pics of the completed job. For this deck by request of client we used Ekodeck which is a manufactured product which has no need of stain or painting for its lifetime and also built a screen with gate using Ekodeck to hide bins and gas bottles. We also installed a clothes line in the garage, fitted some flat pack storage cupboards and work benches. We also concreted in the water meter box which was dowelled into the existing driveway to stop it from moving and cracking. Another happy client for the Stella crew :-)

02.01.2022 A Simple mistake made by a lot of builders but causes a lot of damage, is when an external deck is built to be tiled, sheeted then waterproofed and then Mr Handrail installer comes out and screws the handrail down to the deck compromising the waterproofing allowing water to penetrate the ceiling space below,which can result in the collapse or partial collapse seen in these photos. Will post finished pics soon. Just waiting on a dry day to waterproof the new deck :-)

02.01.2022 Footings in yesterday ;-) drain today slab prep tomorrow slab by Thursday. Frame next week ;-) all going well !!!
