24.01.2022 In these unprecedented times and with technology making things easy and accessible - kids are becoming more aware and more curious There are times when they ask you difficult questions and then there are times when they ask you simple questions which are very difficult to answer or explain. Dealing with sensitive topics is an arduous task for many parents. This is the perfect opportunity to increase their Emotional Intelligence (hope,resilience, caring) The big C (Cancer)... is one such topic. 16.01.2022 Cooking up a Corona ! Lot of us have found our inner Masterchef during these home bound times. I did too! Those who know me know that I’m a complete foodie n absolutely experimental. So tough times calls for fun times too ! There were lot of hits n misses but at the end of it - I found joy as I unleashed myself in the kitchen. N the best part is A has also started developing his palette n his love for food (yes he loves watching Masterchef with me n is equally aware n also ha...s his favourites n opinions - more on that later) So here goes a humble n earnest display of old passion but newly started execution in a series of videos. 04.01.2022 On way back from school while waiting for the lift Anakin is playing with his friend. In line behind us is another boy his classmate but not exactly his friend.All the time through waiting and in the lift that boy is very quiet n just standing next to his mum.When we reach our floor A starts insisting that he wants to go to that boys house.Im a bit surprised as he’s never really played with him before. He keeps insisting so I ask him why does he want to go. A’s reply Mumm...a I want to go his house and become his friend as he looked a bit sad and maybe he doesn’t have a friend. So I think he needs someone to be his friend. #TongueTied In these troubled times when we have to protest for basic human necessity -‘to breathe’ such gestures makes you feel humbled. #ToPuttingTheKindBackInHumanKind I’m in with you. 04.01.2022 We r celebrating #Onam after 3 years n it’s very imperative for me that lil A knows and appreciates his heritage n culture. Onam is a celebration of giving and togetherness n receiving gifts (usually new clothes) from elders! All through my childhood my grandfather who was the eldest of course n my mom had inculcated the liberty to choose n would give me money and it was my choice what I did with it (they would most of the times emotionally convince me to save it up ) So this year we decided to gift A with a book instead of clothes as nothing surpasses the love of reading #empoweringkidsforlife He’s at that stage where he’s all into adventure n explorations n hopefully these stories will help him traverse those magical fantasyland #bibliophile #anakinisms #booklover #loveforreading

03.01.2022 Kids are like sponge - they absorb every little nuance even when you are not noticing or aware. So it’s easy for them to get very confused as well when they don’t get answers to their million questions that pop up in their tiny active head.
