20.01.2022 As of yesterday only 12414 of the 20145 ballots for Wetlands Ward have been received by VEC. Some will still be in the mail system, but if yours isn’t, today is your last day to post your ballot to make it count. Please make sure you get your ballot in the mail before the box clearing time if you haven’t yet so your voice can be heard.
17.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me asking how it is going. The last ballots are being entered into the computers this evening and the results will be calculated at 2:20pm tomorrow with formal declaration later in the afternoon. Not long now

I really appreciated the chance to connect with more residents alongside other candidates. 14.01.2022 Polls have now closed; I want to thank every resident who took the time to vote, we will know the results on November 12. I have enjoyed this campaign and all the wonderful people I have had a chance to meet and talk to. Whether successful or not I look forward to working with our new Council on many great projects in our community. I have had some wonderful support in my campaign and want to acknowledge all the sacrifices my wife and daughters have made; as well as the many volunteers who have helped me dropping flyers, advising, proof reading and lending their fences for signs. I really appreciate all the help. Especially that of my campaign manager, Brian and sage advice from our outgoing Mayor.
07.01.2022 So results are out: I would like to Congratulate soon to be Cr Matt Tyler and soon to be Cr Diana Grima. 2 very capable and community oriented candidates on their election. I know you will work hard for our ward and I will be working with you both in any way I can to improve my beautiful home in Hobsons Bay. To those who have supported me thank you, each and every resident I am proud of how close I came and head home from the count confident that your support will bring the p...olicies I stood for to the strong attention of our new leaders. To my Wife and daughters I thank you for the sacrifices you have made to my campaign I love you all so very much. And to both my election manager Brian and our outgoing mayor (and Cobrams new Cr) Colleen I thank you for all you advice and help. To every flyer dropper and sign poster thank you for your support. I could not have done it alone.
05.01.2022 I posted my ballot this week, have you? Voting closes on Friday October 23 and your ballot must be posted by then to count. Please also remember to number every box 1-10 in Wetlands Ward to make your vote valid.
