25.01.2022 Home 5 mins and she rocking it Awesome Skye Kennedy Ellanbrae Maverick

24.01.2022 Laura Mcconnon from Tassie has ventured over for clinics for the past 2 years and planned to come back to learn how to lay her horse down when COVID hit. So with the videos and over the phone coaching, and the fact she’s a naturally talented horse trainer Laura is doing amazing getting both her horses laying down. We look forward to boarder restrictions ended so Laura can come back over.

24.01.2022 This time last year we had our first trip to the gorgeous Malabar working for Paws on Film for ICE watch advertising. Ty and Zooie Zoolander

23.01.2022 Before the latest restrictions Faye Watts had started bring her young pony colt for some ground work training with the ambition to get started in some Tricks & Liberty training. Faye had bought Cochise as 2 year old unhandled colt from a local horse dealer, a bit wild she spent a lot of time with him just to be able to put a halter on and pat him. When Faye bought him here he was a timid vocal young colt that lacked a bit of control and direction. Now after 4 lessons she ha...s so much more control and a solid foundation, Cochise is going a head in leaps and bounds and they both are revelling in their training taking her homework Faye is very dedicated and improves each time we see her. Steve loves a dedicated student they make him look good ... Awesome job Faye. I have got so much enjoyment and knowledge from coming to your place for lessons. He is now a different horse We look forward to the restrictions being over so we can start up our training days in the new purpose built round yard with viewing area. We will be doing days where you can bring your horse or fence sit and you can learn like Faye and Cochise

22.01.2022 We had one main directive with this little breaker and that was to make him safe for his mum as she had two little kids. Beyond happy to see the girl get him home and smash out a great first ride.

20.01.2022 Our second breaker to go home today was a very smart Galloway owned by the Monaghan family. Phil and Remy had started this young boy prior to Remy going overseas, he had great basics to work with. Dutchy is sired by Manorvale Finale and bred by Arlene Meursing a massive moving young Galloway sure to be a future champion.

18.01.2022 Faye Watts sure has been doing her homework, last lesson we started young Cochise working towards having him off the lead going at Liberty. Faye has been training hard at home and when they came back this week it all came together. It’s simply amazing how this young colt has changed his attitude since he first training session. You can read lots of books on horse training but learning Liberty and good ground work foundation allows you to enter the library on horse training. Keep up the good work Faye.

16.01.2022 My new cowboy saddle, just in time for the spring breakers. -13 Hawkesbury River half seat outlaw master Thanks to Hawkesbury River saddlery CO Victoria rep... 15.01.2022 Today we said good bye to Flynn when the girls dropped him off to be broken in they were totally up front and said He’s Special, he’s a little different and a b...it quirky and he was all of the above plus some. But with ground work and desensitisation work he turned around into a little show pony. Thank you Michelle Lynch for having the faith in us, we look forward to following Flynn’s progress and seeing him out in the show ring, hopefully to not to distant future. I think the best compliment you can get is when the owner gets on and has a ride pulls up and says I can’t believe I’m riding him. See more

13.01.2022 Zulu adding another string to his bow

13.01.2022 Our last two breakers went home today going super both horses have big futures. Skye Kennedy big baby Truffle Ellanbrae Maverick Sired by Dante Weltino Dam Horizonte De Jeu Truffle did some ground work, float training and was mouthed back in the winter and Skye bought him back to be finished letting him mature in between. Going great for 10 rides and Skye has been over for a few rides as he progressed. Sending him home today to a very cable young woman, not sure anyone will wipe the smile off that face for a while.

10.01.2022 UPDATE on Faye Watts and her rescue pony Cochise. Faye squeezed in a few lessons prior to lockdown with the aim of teaching her pony to stand on the pedestal. Sending lots of little bits of videos when she got stuck on things for some online coaching three weeks into lookdown she had him on, now she has challenged her self and raised the bar and has him on two tyres working towards breaking him in, all the little training steps she has taken is making Cochise’s foundation solid. Great work Faye you are doing amazing. Maybe you can’t ride or maybe your horse needs some direction and are interested in achieving some goals like Faye we hope to get our training days up and running when restrictions ease in our new purpose built round yard and viewing deck feel free to contact us for more information.

08.01.2022 Friday we ran our first foundation to Liberty clinic in our new purpose built round yard with viewing A small group of enthusiasts ladies. A couple have done a bit of training with us prior and the others had no training at all. A great day to experience the end product of the trained Liberty horses through to the tricky beginner horse. A few snaps taken on the day, sorry I missed a couple.

07.01.2022 Another week of breakers and a big shout out to Ash King who earned his keep with these couple while here Ash and Bob got some training in on bowing, Bob is going to have a great bow.

06.01.2022 Before Covid our sponsored star young rider Montanna Maud was blitzing it in the dressage arena with her warmblood Ballymount Fancy That. We are so proud of what Montanna has achieved through her hard work and dedication. Looking so grown up this striking combination is one to watch out for in the future.
