25.01.2022 I was out & about in the area and thought I'd pop in to the Chandler Tennis Centre to say hello I had a quick rally with the Managing Director Sam and a nice chat afterwards. My outfit choice wasn't ideal but I can never say no to a rally. Back in the day I was a tennis coach so I definitely appreciate all the work that goes into teaching at a facility like this. ... : HEAD Tennis #ChatsworthCommunity #Sports #Tennis

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Carina Meals on Wheels, who have received $7,551.50 to upgrade their ovens through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. This upgrade is going make sure the incredible volunteers have the right equipment to continue delivering delicious meals to those who need it. They do such a good job with their menus that I get extra hungry on my delivery runs.

16.01.2022 So Labor are trying to turn attention to their 'economic recovery plan'...what a joke - they didn't release a budget, block Right To Information requests on Cross River Rail cost blowouts and have a State Treasurer who didn't even know our debt level.. They have had two terms of government and our economy was tanking well before Covid. Absolute economic tyros...

16.01.2022 This is a lengthy but important message. Today's Auditor-General report highlights the Palaszczuk Labor Government doesnt have an economic plan to get Queensland working again or create a decade of secure jobs. No budget means Labor is flying blind through the biggest economic crisis in almost a century. Prior to COVID, Queensland had the nations highest unemployment, most bankruptcies and lowest business confidence. The LNP has already announced an Economic Recovery Agen...cy that will report directly to the Premier, coordinating a comprehensive program of fast-tracked projects to stimulate the economy and drag us out of recession. Delivering the New Bradfield scheme Establishing the Queensland Dam Company to progress the Nullinga Dam, Urannah Dam, Rookwood Weir, Burdekin Falls Dam upgrade and Emu Swamp Dam Fixing Paradise Dam utilising international expert advice An immediate audit of stalled major projects and fast-tracking approvals across all government agencies Issuing the tender documents for the $1 billion South-East Queensland congestion busting infrastructure stimulus package Fast-tracking approvals for the Second M1 Delivering 4 new ICE rehab centres Promoting Queensland as the low tax state for investment because of our no new taxes policy Implementing our Queensland Investment Partnerships, to secure $1 billion of private sector investment Reducing water prices for Sun Water irrigators by almost 20 per cent Establishing our Industry Skills Council to ensure vocational training is meeting skills shortages Fast-tracking air-conditioning every state school classroom to support local tradie jobs Queensland cant afford another four years of Labor and only the LNP has a strong economic plan to create a decade of secure jobs. Labor are hopeless at managing the economy.

15.01.2022 It's the middle of the month and you know what that means - it's #BirthdayCardBanger time! My pick for this month is "Rain on Me" by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Absolutely love this song! What song have you been jamming to this month?

15.01.2022 There was a lot planned for this morning out in the Chatsworth electorate but with the latest restrictions put in place, it was best to call it off. Hope everyone stays safe and well this weekend. Remember to social distance and practice good hygiene at all times #ChatsworthCommunity #COVID19 #qldpol #YLNP #lnpqld

14.01.2022 Today is National Meals on Wheels Day! Throughout the years I have always tried to volunteer as much as I can for our local Carina Meals on Wheels. What I do is only a drop in the ocean compared to what the incredible volunteers do on a daily basis to help our vulnerable community members. Today it was great to catch up with the residents on my 'green run'.... Thank you to each and every person that is involved with Meals on Wheels Queensland. Your contribution to our community is truly invaluable. A special shoutout to Miles, Pat and Marilyn (Carina Meals on Wheels) for what they do #ChatsworthCommunity #NationalMealsOnWheelsDay

14.01.2022 #throwbackthursday to when I DJ'ed at PCYC Carindale's Blue Light Disco in 2013. A few more wrinkles now but great memories of one of my first years as an MP.

13.01.2022 They say 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery' but just be aware that a fake Instagram account using my name seems to be floating around. If you receive a follow request from an account that looks like this, please report. There's only one bald man proud to represent Chatsworth!

13.01.2022 This is just another example of Annastacia Palaszczuk and Labor's wrong priorities.

12.01.2022 Thank you to the Rotary Club of Carindale for having me at their Breakfast this morning. 08.01.2022 Last year we celebrated Billie's 100th birthday (you might remember seeing the photo) Last week I was delighted to drop by to wish him a Happy 101st Birthday! An incredible milestone! 08.01.2022 It was wonderful to be a part of the Thompson Estate Eastern Suburbs Athletics and Cross Country's annual Trophy Night. 08.01.2022 Congratulations to all the year 12 students who are celebrating their final days of high school including the outstanding students at San Sisto College Carina in the Chatsworth Electorate. In particular, I want to congratulate someone very special to me -my son, Lachlan! I am extremely proud of everything you have achieved and I look forward to walking beside you as you embark on this next stage in your life. As I mentioned in my recent speech in Parliament, this 2020 cohor...t has endured many firsts. I believe this year group was one of the first to undertake Prep year, NAPLAN testing and the transition from the old OP tertiary entrance system to the new ATAR system. They are also now the first generation in over a century to study through a pandemic The level of maturity and resilience you have all shown during this unforgettable year will hold you in good stead for the rest of your life. To the year 12 students throughout Queensland: Congratulations and best wishes for this new and exciting chapter in your lives. Go forward and make your mark! #seniors2020 #graduation2020

07.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT // A future LNP Government will commit $55,000 towards a fauna movement solution for Old Cleveland Road. With more than 500 signatures on my recent petition for a wildlife crossing, it is clear that this is important to the Chatsworth community. 05.01.2022 About to begin the first question time of the 57th Qld Parliament. I never take for granted what an honour it is to represent my Chatsworth electorate in this Chamber. Qld need a strong opposition to hold this Government to account. Let’s see how that economic recovery goes....

05.01.2022 Today in another 'train wreck' of an interview, the Palaszczuk Labor Government refused to rule out increasing your taxes if they are elected on October 31. Labor had no economic plan before coronavirus and still have no economic recovery plan now. As we know, when Labor runs out of money they come after yours with State debt to blow out to over $101 billion. Yep.....$101 billion! An LNP Government will provide the economic leadership that Queensland is desperate for. The LNP will produce a full budget in 100 days and weve guaranteed no new or increased taxes if elected.

04.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day not just to the dads in the Chatsworth electorate but everywhere! I still think of my own dad everyday & thank him for instilling in me the spirit to never give up.

02.01.2022 My #BirthdayCardBanger for this month is "A Little Less Conversation" - Elvis (JXL Radio Edit Remix) It's my son Lachie's 18th birthday in September so I've chosen this remix because it was one of the top hits back when he was born in September 2002! Happy birthday Lachie and everyone celebrating their birthday in September

02.01.2022 Queensland had the nations worst unemployment rate before the coronavirus began, as well as the highest number of bankruptcies and the lowest business confidence. Only the LNP has a plan to stimulate the economy and drag Queensland out of this recession. This hopeless mob have to go on the 31st October.
