22.01.2022 This job warmed Steves heart as it was for his Father in Law John, who recently needed to become accustomed to being in a wheelchair. John wanted to be able to safely and independently go outside to enjoy the fresh air and his beautiful Bridgetown view. . He also wanted to be able to get to his shed and maybe water the plants to keep them alive of course and reconnect with nature Requirements were that the path is safe for wheelchairs, had access to the driveway, lo...oks aesthetically pleasing blending in with their country style house and stays within their budget. They decided on concrete slabs turned upside down for safety reasons; to wheelchair requirements Steve created the slopes and landings; and then he blended it into the existing environment. Plants and blue metal were added to side of pathways for aesthetic reasons. Sleepers were used to retain the diff in height as it was situated on a hilly Bridgetown property. Everyone felt emotional when John was able to independently wheel himself outside for the first time in months to admire the view and breathe in the fresh country air! Check out the pics below!

20.01.2022 This newly purchased property was flooding around the existing patio because the main roof was leaking where they joined. On closer inspection all of the timber framework was rotten and falling apart and wasnt correctly installed. The owners wanted a patio that would last a long time, be functional and to not leak. As we removed the patio roof all the timber structure collapsed! So we installed new posts and rafters whilst removing the existing roof gutters to install the ...new patio. The customer then had more outdoor undercover space with extra light coming through and no leaks! See pics below!

17.01.2022 Steve went all the way to Bussleton for this job! He listened to the customers’ patio idea and then showed him the reality of what he was thinking... Unknown to the customer, the patio they had in mind wasn’t functional and wouldn’t have met their outdoor living needs. So... After consulting with Steve about their requirements such as wanting privacy so that neighbour couldn’t look in, being able to still see the sky when she lay in her bedroom, having an undercover area t...hey could use all year round, having an area still in the sun, a plan was created! Steve designed and built a patio that fell back towards the house to enable her to see the sky still; created full height 100% privacy screen which also allows air flow; and built a massive timber decking that was both under the patio and exposed to the elements. Once again customer was ‘stoked’ and couldn’t believe the difference between the initial idea and the finished product! Yay! See pics below!

14.01.2022 This couple wanted a pool decking to go around their new above ground pool (in rocky Bedfordale) so that it looked like a below ground pool! The decking had to be at the same level as the entrance from the side ramp and needed a false retaining wall. Pool decking was made from eco-deck which is made from plastic and polycarbonate... low maintenance compared to wood! Check out the pics!

03.01.2022 This couple wanted a functional outdoor area to contain the dogs, use a BBQ and have privacy from the neighbours. So Steve created a screen that allowed airflow and no visibility; perimeter fencing with gates and steps, to retain the dogs and for access; installed a spotlight over the BBQ and mood lighting throughout; pine decking was installed; and of course built a patio over the top! He also did a complete re-gutter while there! And re-roofed a small section! And rep...aired some leaking over the entry of house!
