24.01.2022 The Early Years French class loved their Gymnastic lesson. They were very supportive of the Bus Driver that tried (and not glamorously succeeded) to do a back bend/rollover thing!

24.01.2022 Day 1 of the Middle Years Camp at Woodhouse. An action-packed day full of activities. We started with the Bouldering Wall, followed by the Orienteering Challenge, and finished at Challenge Hill (which include the Water Crossing!). Lots of smiles and risk-taking, and excitement for the next 2 days of our camp!

23.01.2022 Well done to our children that have completed their Premier’s Reading Challenge.... there are still a few more to add to the display. The colours reflect the 3 school house teams. Francis-Green, O’Connor-Red and MacKillop-Blue. Great display Mrs Stavrou.

16.01.2022 Day 2 of the Middle Years camp at Woodhouse. Today's activities included: Disc Golf, Tube Slide, Survivor Challenge and Laser Skirmish. Great weather and great fun, as the photos show!

13.01.2022 As a staff we spend so much time together yet we don’t really spend a lot of time together. It is important that we make quality time to spend together. People often say it looks like the staff really get along well like most families, most of the time we do!

11.01.2022 We had our second week of Gymnastics. The Primary Years children had a great time!

06.01.2022 School fee update!!! St Joseph’s School, Barmera has become even more affordable! Working with Catholic Education South Australia and the School Board, we have been able to reduce our school fees! This is a 20% reduction from our 2020 fees. As you can see, there are discounts for sibling enrolments, when they are at school at the same time. If you are lucky enough to have a 4th child at the school at the same time, your 4th child is free. Make no mistake, we will still have a...mazing staff, have support structures in place, provide excellent education, have great learning environments and have a generous amount of resources. The only thing that is changing is the price. If you have any questions, contact the school on 8588 6100. 'Relationships, Learning & Community...a place where students find their way'

06.01.2022 Our Middle Years class joined the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board to learn about water testing and river management, as a way of ensuring a healthy Riverland environment for the future. They also popped into the Barmera Library to learn about and create locks and weirs

04.01.2022 Today the school holidays for students begin. I find, if I don't take the time to stop and reflect, I forget about all the great learning opportunities students have had and how much they have grown as a person over the term. I encourage you to take some time to reflect upon your child and enjoy the celebrations of their achievements. If you get stuck, let me know, Ill be happy to share them with you! These pictures are from Term 3

04.01.2022 Don't worry, the Early Years Yeomans didn't miss out! They too loved the Gymnastics. Thanks Ms Drogemuller for organising this!

02.01.2022 Happy Birthday Jesse...Hope you have had a good day!
