25.01.2022 Today’s live streamed Mass on this Mission Sunday

24.01.2022 Today the Church celebrates the Memorial of the Holy Name of Mary. We can reflect on the prayer of known Marian devotee St. Bernard: Look at the star of the se...a, call upon Mary, in danger, in distress, in doubt, think of Mary. Call upon Mary. May her name never be far from your lips, or far from your heart. If you follow her, you will not stray, if you pray to her, you will not despair, if you turn your thoughts to her, you will not err. If she holds you, you will not fall, if she protects you, you will not fear, if she is your guide, you will not tire, and if she is gracious to you, you will surely reach your destination. See more

10.01.2022 Please, if you can, give to our Second Collection this September for Holy Places. Pope Francis has asked us to try to give generously during the Pandemic where... these collections will be low. Here is the link: https://www.mygivinghub.com/detailed/donate The Holy Places of the Holy Land are the concrete, historical witness on earth of the story of our Biblical Faith and the sites our LORD lived among during His life, death and resurrection. From there the Good News spread throughout the world. A Christian community has remained there continually till now through trials, sacrifices and martyrdom. This Papal collection allows this community to survive as a local Church, to preserve the sacred sites of our Catholic faith and to keep the Christian message of peace and hope alive. See more

06.01.2022 Request for funds - SVDP We recently reached out to SVDP to help one of our parishioners and they responded quickly to resolve the problem. As the pandemic continues we expect to have further calls for help, if you are able - please give them a donation to continue their good work. The St Vincent de Paul conference serving the two parishes is still active within the limitations of the pandemic and will provide help and support where possible. Our normal source of funds is ...the kind donations received from parishioners at the Church doors which is much reduced because of the limit on the number of parishioners who are allowed to attend Mass. Most of the help we provide requires cash of some description and we are aware that our funds are limited. We would appreciate any assistance our parishioners can offer and all donations would be most welcome in the form of payments to our bank account. Our account details for donations are Society Saint Vincent De Paul Bank of Scotland Sort Code 80 13 53 Acc No 06001680 Many thanks in St. Vincent and Blessed Frederic Ozanam.
