21.01.2022 "Marriage serves the welfare of families, children and the wider society and is properly a matter for the whole community. We love our gay friends and family members, we treasure our friendships with gay colleagues, as Jesus would have us do. And, following Jesus too, we respectfully affirm that marriage is the exclusive covenant union of a man and a woman. This is why I will be voting No."

19.01.2022 "The big question is whether there can be a measure of mutual respect from both sides in the face of wide-ranging and irrevocable disagreement. Same-sex marriage may well be inevitable in this country. But Australia continuing as a civil and civilised society is still up for grabs."

12.01.2022 Known research on this matter show that many children who think they have gender dysphoria will grow out of it. We should be thankful that children can grow out of the grief and pain that I still experience. After all, children are impressionable. Greater care is needed in public policy on this issue.

06.01.2022 "...protection of belief and religious freedom in this country is seriously inadequate; the refusal of politicians either to admit or to address such defects; and the abundant evidence at home and abroad that individuals and institutions will be intimidated after the marriage law is changed."
